Service was slow. It didn't seem all that busy, but clearly understaffed. The food was good, but our orders on a 7 top arrived almost all separately.

It's pretty obvious why this is a favorite with the locals. The restaurant is soft spoken, low key, with good food. Take a look at the menu online and if it calls to you, you'll enjoy it. We spend about a week a month in Vermont and this is always on our short list.

I highly recommend coming here and trying this place as it is absolutely worth the price. We started with the escargot with a puff pastry topping and pesto butter. I suggest saving some of the free bread that comes out to dip in the remaining butter. The pork schnitzel was excellent and there was a lobster risotto on special this evening that was phenomenal. The specialty cocktails were excellent. For dessert I recommend the bananas foster! (pictured below). I don't think you can get that anywhere else in the Burlington area and it is worth the trip alone. Overall I think this is a place most people should try for a special occasion or night out as the food was amazing and the service top notch.

Had a wonderful time at their Meet the Makers event with Mad River Distillers.

The bar dude is super friendly and on the point with orders. The food was delivered in great order and great flavor. Crabmelt is pretty magical. The atmosphere is great for dates or meetings.

Slow, even with a limited menu due to Thanksgiving, and i had a reservation..it took 40 mins to get my bland food. People who think that this is good food, have not had good food.It is way overpriced for what you get. I paid 42.00 for this plate.

This place is low key one of the best restaurants in the Burlington area, in my opinion. The food is great and the prices are reasonable compared to most other restaurants around.

We had several menu items yesterday all day at this establishment. The Corn Chowder was delicious. Crabcakes were very good. Pork schnitzel was over cooked. My wife and I shared a beet salad and the beets were flavorless. To our server about the above items and she simply stated the beets haven't been great and “I will let the chef know"
We have dined here several times in your past and, this time, left somewhat disappointed. We’ll probably not eat here again.

Popover was burnt, Creme brûlée burnt, gnocchi was hard. The rest was ok. Wait staff were all very nice.
