Stopped by for lunch on Columbus day. Very busy, 20 minute wait for a table but well worth the wait. Excellent avocado melt and maple milkshake. Enter through the shop and go through to the café. If no table available, leave your name at the till and wait in the shop and they'll call your name when the table's ready.

Great food nestled in the little town! Everything seemed fresh and was decently priced. There were a few things on the pricey side but that's everywhere now-a-days. They also have a store connected to them so you can look around while you wait!

Food was good. Service was SLOW and we felt like 2nd class customers because of our Trump gear. If youre a tree-hugging liberal, this might be just the place for you.

Great surprise with professional services and good food

Stopped by with my soccer team for some yummy ice cream cones and super friendly service.

Friendly and speedy service before a day of cycling. The breakfast was pretty good, good coffee, too. Kept us full and happy for many miles! We were thankful that they were open before 8am.

Breakfast so great people drive distances over mountain for it!
Good lunch, vegetarian options etc.
Old fashioned marble soda fountain, in use at least since I was a small kid
(I was born in 1950). Nice little gift shop with candy , pretty socks, kitchen items etc. If you are in central VT, eat here! Breakfast tilll 11,

Stopped in for ice cream. They had only 4 flavors, we tried the coffee flavor and loved it. The other flavors I think where maple walnut, chocolate and vanilla.
Also note, there is no internet available via phone (verizon wireless) in this town so take notes before you get in :)

Expect a short wait - it's a small and cozy place but tables turn over quickly.

The food and service is fantastic. We ate outside on the porch. It was perfect with beautiful flowers and sunshine. But most importantly was the food. I ordered the Vermonter. 2 eggs over easy on open faced english muffins and topped with melted cheddar cheese!! I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had.... Also it comes with the tasty hash browns! The coffee was perfection.
If you’re passing through Rochester on route 100. Don’t miss stopping at the cafe. It’s the best!
