Great renovation of a classic Vermont cafe, with excellent food!

I walked in here one morning hoping for something decent for breakfast and was delighted with the smoked local BLT and egg sandwich, made from high-quality ingredients, served on a King Arthur brioche roll, and totally delicious. You won't find a breakfast menu this comprehensive (or yummy) elsewhere in Quechee or even Woodstock. Plus fresh-squeezed OJ! I haven't tried the lunch menu yet, but that's only for lack of time.

The friendly service and delicious meal was excellent! The berry waffle I had was flavorful and barely needed syrup, which is rare for me! My wife had the Hurricane breakfast with rosemary chicken sausage and she loved it!

Delicious food and amazing service! The owner was delightful even when a rude couple tried to shame her for having to wait (Saturday morning, of course there is a wait!). I would have cried if I was working as hard as she was then had someone be so mean but she kept working and handled it very gracefully. I really hope the couple was from out of town because if they frequent the Cafe I personally would refuse to serve them. Great place, I can't wait to go there again!

Dewey's was just opening up as we arrived for brunch and the staff was obviously still prepping for the rush. There were some issues at the register with ordering, not enough change, and the coffee still brewing. However, the food came out pretty quickly and both the brisket Benedict and the fresh berry waffle were delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee was weak and had grounds in it when I asked for a replacement, they couldn't get to it because they were so busy.

Super friendly owners. Food was delicous!! The potatoe and Tomatoe slice you get with the meal is amazing!!! Cooked to Perfection. The eggs are excellent either over easy or in an omelet... Super Fresh Ingredients!!!
I have read in other reviews about the cost of items on the menu and how expensive it is. Well I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for!!! Everything is expensive now and this place is worth every penny.

Definitely a good place, we got egg sandwiches which came with potatoes. It was very tasty! However it was a bit expensive for the amount of food you got. If you’re driving on route 4 and need breakfast, definitely stop here!

Veg sandwich was good. Potato wedges were yummy!
