Dewey's Mills Café

Located directly across from the Quechee Welcome Center. Cute place, nothing fancy .You place your order at the counter and it's delivered to your table. We ordered a Rueben sandwich and a BLT sandwich along with a side of spiced potato wedges. Sandwiches are served with no sides. They were very good on fresh bread. A little pricey. Our bill for food and 2 beers was $43.

Look, this is the biggest tourist trap you will find in Vermont. The food is mediocre at best, the potato wedges were burnt, the bacon was floppy. Obviously understaffed but the staff were nice - I get it, places are having a hard time finding employees. But the food was not edible. Not many other options in the area.

We had a wonderful lunch at Dewey’s Mills this weekend. Eren’s sandwich combinations were very delicious and we sat at a nice and cozy spot next to the pellet stove. (If you were a fan of his family’s restaurant in Quechee years ago, have Sevi’s salad…it will take you back about 20ish years) Quick and friendly service, fresh and local ingredients…it’s a must if you are in the area.

Marvelous. You can taste the care put in to the dishes. Pulled pork sandwich is so good, as is the coffee and the staff.

Unbelievable experience, from start to finish was a very enjoyable experience, ordered a couple sandwiches and both tasted very good.

And even walking out we're offered a complimentary cookie, will be back :))

Great sandwiches, we had the Reuben and turkey! They come with these delicious seasoned potato wedges! They are a little pricey but it is Quechee, VT. The owners are the host and cook and they are great, both came out to ask us how the food was! Will go back!

Pricy, but not bad. We got 2 omelets and 2 cups of coffee for over $50….. food was alright. Toast was kind of burnt and the egg was underdone. Cute place though and nice people. We’ll be back.

Nice place, I had been here for lunch YEARS ago but it's much different now. As is for many restaurants in the Upper Valley, they were VERY short staffed....like we're talking, almost NO staff. Upon entering there was a large poster board on a easel stating the exact staffing situation they were dealing with and the steps to place your order. Pretty simple, we picked up a menu, selected what we wanted then placed (and paid) for our order with the Hostess/Cashier/Waitress. She politely (and graciously!) handed us a numbered glass with 2 sets of silverware and told us she would bring us our order to the table we selected in the dining room, she informed us she we locate us by the numbered glass on our table when our food was ready. Roughly 20-25 minutes later she delivered our food. All I can say is WOW, my wife and I were blown away, d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s, the BEST ever turkey sandwich on the planet and the crispiest romaine caesar salad I've had in years! We sat at a table near the door and noticed several folks read the ordering instructions and then turn around and leave. My message to them???? You missed out on one heck of a lunch. The TOTAL number of employees I saw (and I looked!) came to a grand total of 2! Outstanding! Hats off to you! we'll be back next year and just as before, we'll bring our dishes to you, no need to bus our table, we get it.

We ordered 5 sandwich meals in April during our lunchtime visit. Mine was turkey with coleslaw with potato wedges on the side. It was delicious. This was a spur of the minute stop, and will definitely stop again next time I am in area! We each were given a cookie on our way out. Delicious.

Wonderful little cafe on Rt4 in Quechee. Very nice people and the food was delicious. Huge home fries, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. I had the Beef Pastrami sandwich which was loaded with beef and the bread had to be homemade because it was perfect. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
