It was my first time to go to the Vermont Tea House. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent as was the tea. I recommend it.

Wonderful, relaxed, and homey vibe with an incredible selection of teas and scones, complete with top-notch service. Perfect for cooler weather!

Visited recently with my book club. As previous reviews said they had an excellent tea selection and good scones with clotted cream and jam to go with. (No lemon curd on my visit, I suspect supply chain issues that have plagued us are to blame). I noticed previous reviews mentioned it being loud. That was not all the case during my visit! Staff was super friendly and I’m sure would have turned music up or down if we’d asked. I will certainly be back!

A beautiful and peaceful environment. With tasteful teas, and a beautiful aroma of homemade candles 🥰

My friend and I went to Vermont Tea House in Chester for an English Tea.
What a wonderful time we had!
Laura Berlenbach, the owner, was so gracious and knowledgeable about the tea's.
The food was amazing!
A must trip.

What a lovely shop! We wandered in and ended up staying to enjoy a pot of tea and some delicious scones. A long menu of teas available, adorable interior space, very nice service, and a great selection of items for sale. I know where I'm doing my birthday and Christmas shopping this year!

It's an old fashioned tea house plus tea and houseware gift shop. The menu is all different kinds of tea, plus scones which looked delicious but unfortunately I couldn't eat them for allergy reasons. You can order a whole pot of tea or just a tea bag and a pot of hot water, but I was able to get a decently deep steep three times from the tea bag (which are bagged in-house from loose tea, not a commercial tea bag). My biggest complaint is that it was pretty loud, with Christmas carols blaring.

Absolutely lovely tea experience. New place as of fall of 2021 and well worth a visit - wide variety of teas for any taste, I had the "thunderstorm" tea which I would recommend for a low-caffeine relaxing tea. Inside is well decorated, very clean, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing afternoon or a date night. If you're passing near the area, make the detour - you won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful shop! They have an incredible assortment of teas and great descriptions. The girls working were helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be adding this to list of places we visit when heading up skiing.
