Really adorable place! Staff was super friendly and chatted with us warmly. My friends asked for metal utensils instead of disposable compostable ones, and they readily accommodated.
I got the ayurveda kitchari soup. My friends got the waffle, Bali rice bowl and avocado toast. The food was made w fresh ingredients, looked colorful and tasted great. Appreciate that they have many vegan items, and it's easy to make others vegan. I love that they make tasty treats using pulp from making almond milk in-house!

So very delicious, nutritious, and expensive. 2 Salads (hearty, filling, balanced, yummy), 1 toast for 2 (desserty, filling, yummy) Smoothie (balanced, not too sweet) = +$70
Their kitchari isn't great. no flavor. maybe it was a bad batch.
Everything else has been a joy to eat.

One of the best healthy restaurants in Vermont, let alone Burlington, and on par with juice/salad places in any major city. Lovely white/rainbow aesthetic, good clean food. I’ve eaten here 100s of times and have had largely positive experiences. 🌸🌸🌸✨✨✨🤍🤍🤍

I've always been meaning to head over to Tomgirl and finally got the chance to this past weekend. There were plenty of drink and food options and all of them looked amazing which made it difficult to pick. Since it was a hot day, I went with the Mighty Aphrodite...it was the best smoothie I've ever had. I've had plenty of them over the years but that sums it up.
If you haven't been here yet, make it a point to go. It can be a bit pricy but here you'll get what you pay for - quality and amazing taste. I'll be headed back there soon to try the food options and possibly a different smoothie but also maybe the same one because it was that good.

My soul is singing after that watercress salad. It had quinoa, beets, chickpeas and carrots and a wonderful light ginger carrot dressing. Although it looks like a lot of plastics the bowls are actually plant based....pretty cool! Go here.

Great new spot with outdoor seating and a cool vibe inside. I got an açaí bowl which was delicious and a good size. I didn’t realize there was honey on it so had to scrape that off (vegan), but otherwise it was great! I look forward to trying some food options next time! Staff/owner was friendly and super chill with our having a wild 5yo with us!

I loved everything about Tomgirl Kitchen . My daughter brought me here for some Miso Soup, and it was the BEST Miso Soup l ever had !
Greeting us were a team of friendly young women behind the counter who were not only knowledgeable , but helpful with the organic menu.
It is a beautiful dining experience with some avant-garde additions , such as paint supplies and canvases as well as tarot cards and birthday books. Both these we enjoyed when l returned with my daughter and granddaughter; then, my husband, with whom l was excited to share this dining experience.
I highly recommend Tomgirl Kitchen to everyone who values the Vermont way of eating healthy, organic food and the simple diversions of living in these times.
Bravó, Tomgirl Kitchen, wishing you every success in your venture.

I came across this place while visiting Burlington, and I’m so glad to have stopped by! I had an iced matcha and the Bali Rice Bowl, and both were delicious and nourishing. I regret not having enough time to come back and try other menu items… So many to choose from! Highly recommended.

Had a pricey but perfect lunch here -- caesar salad and ginger maple lemonade. The salad has an amazing toasted almond butter seed-and-nut granola with perky middle-eastern spice. Very unusual and delicious! Clean and tasty food. Highly recommended.

Went in to grab some soup and a smoothie, the only soup that was available was the bone broth, when I got it, the “broth” was all oil, not warm and in a small coffee cup. needless to say I was disappointed with my 9 dollar lukewarm oil cup.
