Café Saint Paul

Delicious food, have not been let down once. Staff are nice; its a chill environment that lets me enjoy my food without feeling pretentious. And its fast, I don't have to wait more than 10 minutes or so to get my food. Highly recommend.

What happened to the fries?? For the last 18 months I have loved Cafe St. Paul’s french fries. I was sorely disappointed with what I received yesterday. I sincerely hope this is a temporary and not permanent change.

Best non-bagel bfast sandwich I’ve ever had (Northender). Cool location as well and great iced coffee. Looking forward to trying their other food but the sandwich alone warrants 5 ⭐️

Fabulous Korean Fried Chicken. Lots of folks talk about Canteen Creemeary in Waitsfield having the best fried chicken in Vermont. Cafe Saint Paul is just as delicious, and in my opinion better (I’ve tried both in the past 2 weeks). Sad to see the meatball sub departure because that was also terrific! Highly recommend visiting Cafe Saint Paul.

I got a cheese steak and it was fine. Kinda small and very over priced ($13, extra for mediocre fries, and tip came to about $20) but it tasted okay. Seems like an overhyped overpriced neoliberal cafe in the tourist section of Burlington. Doubt I'll go back.

Good food, but the young women working the counter and phone today was so incredibly rude that it tarnishes the business and food quality. We ordered 2 sandwiches today and she was very rude and cold on the phone, literally hung up on me... and when I picked up I tried to be extra friendly because we have all had bad days...., but she was just as bad at the register, if not worse. She was so incredibly rude and treated us like we were a huge nuisance for ordering lunch at her place of employment. She was disrespectful and rude.....and just super cold at every level.... She just wanted my young son and I to go away. Terrible customer service....so unwelcoming... I work in food service and she was so dismissive and rude it will really make me think twice about going back again.

The food is great but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. My family goes pretty frequently, but have been going other places lately because of the customer service. I shouldn’t have to call over six times to have my call answered. On top of that, when they do answer the phone, the woman answering makes it very clear she’s annoyed that she had to answer the phone, which leads me to believe the calls are just being ignored.

I got a breakfast burrito and a chicken cobb salad. The portions were ok and both tasted great but my Cobb salad was missing eggs and the small ramekin of vinaigrette dressing was only 1/3 filled so there wasn't enough dressing.

Food was good (fries were awesome) but at the time of this review this place seemed slightly overrated when compared to all the great places in Burlington (4.7 stars). My experience would be more in the 4.0-4.2 range
