We are new to living in Vernal and slowly getting around to all the different restaurants in town. This is one I would go to again and had great food. Not only that the ambiance was very "Vernal". If you are a tourist visiting this is a great choice with options for everyone. They also have a fantastic souvenir shop that is better than the dinosaur museums or the heritage museum in town in my opinion. If you want a fun, nice, authentic Vernal dining experience I don't think you can find better in town.

Friendly service. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Not too noisy, can have a conversation and visit with people while enjoying a great meal. Reasonable prices. Definitely a do again restaurant.
2nd visit- trout, pork stake, chocolate Death. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Crowded but could still have a conversation with my wife.

First off, the apple pie and scone didn’t even make it in the photos because they were inhaled.. that good! The Reuben sandwich with the fries and mushroom soup was also very good. I was in town visiting for work and wanted to experience something local.. I 100% recommend this place. Even the server, Hannah, was on time and very friendly. Will be coming back for sure and bringing my colleagues along.

Went in on a Saturday night. This place is BUSY so just be prepared but it is well worth the wait. As it was only a party of two went my boyfriend and I went in we were seated within 5 minutes. The staff was SUPER nice and the food was AMAZING! It is very reasonably priced and tasted GREAT! The scones were nice and fresh too! The gift shop has some great suveniors and a variety of knick knacks! Great place to stop in while you are in town!

Lots of room, plenty of help. Abundant parking (in back) and a neat little gift shop. Food price was decent, plenty of it. We did not leave hungry! Photo is prime rib special.

Great atmosphere and a cute shop. I ordered vegetable beef soup, and it had 3 tiny pieces of beef, lots of carrots, and barley. Good flavor but was far from what was expected. When brought to the attention of the server, she said, "ih, she must not have added much beef this time " offered a different item, however, I was nearly done eating. Scone was nothing special like the menu suggested. Servers were rarely seen and did not come to check on us until we were almost done. Check brought without asking if we wanted anything additional. Won't bother returning on our next visit to town.

Dropped in on a whim. Food was decent. Service was really slow, and it honestly wasn't very busy. It took over a half hour to get my burger. Burger was pretty small, a little bit of flavor, but I was expecting more. More flavor and more size.
The cheeseburger soup sounded interesting, gave it a try, and honestly...it was just okay. A little bit of ground beef in a bowl of cream of chicken. Didn't have any real flavor and didn't stand out.
Not a bad place, prices are fair, but just don't expect to leave feeling full or satiated.

Always a fun experience to go here, staff is always friendly and go above and beyond and the food is just as good!

A cute little establishment along the road. It was interesting reading about their history. The food itself was okay; nothing to write home about. The scones were pretty solid. Atmosphere felt a bit empty and stale but the decor is charming.

If you want good, home-made-from-scratch...this is your place, period. The sausage patty is perfectly seasoned and not from a store...the scones and honey butter are melt in your mouth, put texas road house to shame good. The staff are the friendliest and honestly, even being a busy Friday night....it was such fast service! My family and I cannot wait to come back to vernal! Also, do not pass up the opportunity for their version of the molten lava cake!
