I honestly think Logos may have some of (if not THE) best coffee in the city. The drip is always amazing from the roast to the sourcing. But they also excel with every single espresso drink. It’s not often you find a coffee shop pulling shots with consistently dialed balance, smoothness, and distinction. To top it all off each employee really knows how to steam milk as well. Over all just a great experience.
Logos shares their space with Emigration Cafe. It was confusing where you could sit or if you have to be seated. There are signs on the tables that say Logos that you can sit at if you just get coffee. The rest of the seats you have to be seated and is part of the cafe. The lattes were great but they only offer 8 and 12 oz. We had asked for our coffee to go with one in a personal cup and they made both lattes for “here” so that was kind of annoying. We did try some food from the cafe. We tried the avocado toast which was really good but it says it is “sharable” and it was just 1 piece of bread cut in 2 pieces so I don’t know if I would consider that sharable. We also got a fruit cup for our toddler which was great for her. Has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice once the weather is warmer!
stopped in out of curiosity for a coffee shop with a modbar, and was impressed with sapphire's friendly service, ability to talk about the individual coffees, and attention to detail in brewing. and i was pretty much blown away at the quality of the coffee. i wouldn't expect an experience of this level everytime, and maybe i got a little lucky, but i know a perfect extraction on an espresso AND a pour over doesn't just happen by chance.
pour over of a naturally dried costa rica:
balance: 8.5/10 sometimes you just get a perfectly extracted coffee! clarity: 8.5/10 clean cup allowing a solid exploration of its qualities. acidity: 8/10 crisp and refreshing acidity of a pink wine. sweetness: 8/10 clearly strawberries. body: jk satisfaction factor: 8/10 the kind of cup where the first sip makes you stop in your tracks, and even if you weren't planning on finishing it, it disappears before you finish your review.
espresso: brazil/natural ethiopia: 7.5/10 thick shot with a crema that lingers until the last sip, it's pleasant brightness is balanced with a deep fresh fruit sweetness. not nutty like you'd expect from a brazil, not chocolatey, more like an SO ethiopia with the edges rounded a bit.
I love this coffee. It's wonderful to know that we can find good quality coffe in this neighborhood. Nick a great source of knowledge. I recommend this place 1000%!!
This place by far has the best coffee! The music had a great vibe and the barista (Sapphire) was so sweet and you could tell had a passion for the coffee!
... coffee / espresso drinks = good. ... background music = ultra cheesy ... pastries = the croissant *looked* flaky but it definitely is not freshly made, they are thawed or something. not good.
very small pastry selection in the cafe. the cafe is part of a restaurant, lot's of seating but a little confusing.
The staff was so nice and energetic! The coffee was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t leave without a second cup! I’ve found my new favorite coffee shop!

LOGOS COFFEE. I love you. We love you.
Thank you from the bottom of Salt Lake City’s heart.
So cool to see such an inspirational story! Logos started as a coffee company without a brick and mortar for the first couple years.
Craft lake city, different retail spaces, and now there is a brick and mortar location for local small business!!

Best americano I’ve had in SLC. Balanced & flavorful. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy another coffee on the patio. Highly recommend.
