Why are there no signs visible from the street that Cafe Juniper is located inside of Church & State, and its address in Apple Maps is still listed as down the street? This is definitely wasting my time as a delivery driver. As a business owner, you have a responsibility to make your business highly visible for delivery drivers.
I'd suggest removing photos uploaded to Google Maps of the old storefront, this increases confusion.
“Cafe Juniper” Is written in very small handwriting in white chalk on a white background, which is extremely difficult to read.

My review is based solely on my initial interaction. Walked into an empty cafe at 8:10am. Waited about 3-5 mins for the person to come and take my order. Wanted the Sausage Farro bowl (which is why I decided to try them) and without hesitation was told would take 20-30 mins and would I like something else instead. Breakfast needs to be quick and should be able to order menu items without being redirected. Mushroom toast was ok, latte was decent.

I never really know what to get at cafes but the barista helped me find a really good choice! They even had me smell some of the tea leaves to help me decide
It’s pretty basic but I got an iced oolong tea with oat milk and honey :)

Just received my blackberry lavender scone and latte via Doordash and oh my gosh, the best! The latte is smooth and delicious, no bitter coffee aftertaste and the scone is beyond yummy! Flaky with just a touch of sweet in the lavender glaze...I can't wait to order from Cafe Juniper again!

This is a great coffee shop! The gentleman attending the counter made an excellent iced coffee drink for me, and the scone was delicious. Friendly, fast, efficient service, and they hooked me up with a free mask! Definitely a place I will go back to the next trip to Salt Lake City.

Cafe Juniper is my new favorite Cafe, in Salt Lake City. It's dripping in atmosphere and the artistic, organic space makes you feel transported directly to your happy place. The coffee is top notch (best cortado I have had since my visit to Italy) and the food is all carefully selected and delicious. Top this off with friendly and charming staff (especially Nick) and they have created a unique combination that gives me a place I look forward to spending time in. I will be visiting this place over and over again. It doesn't hurt that the location is located in the heart of downtown.

They have the best toast in town. Plus they serve blue copper coffee (also among the best in town) with a some great flavor options. It's seriously very good.

We were here on this past Easter Sunday. The reason I'm giving this place 4 and not 5 stars is the fact that we waited a decent amount of time to place our order and receive it. There was only one girl working everything... the register, making food, and making the coffee. You could tell that it was too much work for one person to do as one guy walked out because the girl was too busy making food and didn't take the order fast enough. This is not her fault as she was working diligently. This place simply needs 2 or more workers at a time.
Other than that, coffee was EXCELLENT and my everything toast was good. My girlfriend raved about her coffee and also said her food was on point. They have a good selection of coffee and different types of drinks that you can order. Juniper's also has a small breakfast type menu with items like different kinds of toasts and whatnot. This place has so much more potential, they just need a second or third worker to handle the traffic. Maybe they did not fully staff because of Easter?

Such good coffee and had toast to go along with the afternoon treat :-). All splendid! I did get surprised to find out that the shop closed only about an hour after I got there, so I would suggest checking the time before you go to ensure they're open...or staying open if you plan to hangout.

My partner and I visited Café Juniper for a celebratory breakfast and fell in LOVE with the fancy toasts and delicious tea and coffee. We have returned back several times, even though it is quite a ways from where we live. The service is awesome, the decor showcases local artists and it’s just got such a chill vibe.
