Decided to try this place out since I've been to their Provo location; however, it was slightly disappointing. I get their decor choices and theme, but I don't think they are coherent and comes off a bit strange. The sink to the bathroom is also outside / next to the coffee bar which seems not very sanitary and again, off. I got the lavender latte, and it was so so sweet and too milky. It kinda just taste like condensed milk with lavender syrup. The chai was really good though. They also have chess and a comfortable seating area at a great location, so overall, that's why I give them a 4 star. I am also confident that this place is one of those that will get better over time.

Best avocado toast in Provo. Prices ok. Ambiance is #oldtime

What a unique atmosphere! As the name suggests, this place is amazing. I love the aesthetic inside, and the coffee is great too! Would definitely recommend for a quick recharge while on the road.

Didn’t get coffee, but went upstairs for a concert. It was LOUD but what do you expect. Great music and a great rustic atmosphere.

Lovely, eclectic, cozy vibes. Customers were small groups and some remote workers. The coffee was really lovely, and the food looked nice too. Didn't ever want to leave but they were closing 😅

Wonderful coffee! We tried the sweet toast and the avocado toast. Loved both! Seating upstairs very cool! Nice hidden coffee shop

So nice to have a new coffee shop in DT Provo. Quality and Service come first here, the owners are great people and know the pain us coffee drinkers have faced to find a decent cup of coffee in the area. Atmosphere is comfy, relaxed and welcoming.

Checked this place out for the first time today and definitely wish I would have gone forever ago. Ordered a medium drip and it was absolutely delicious. I was told they get their coffee from a roaster in Provo too. A coffee roaster in Provo??? Heck darn frickin yes. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Rugged Grounds is my favorite coffere shop in Provo. It has a very creative atmosphere, and I find it to be a great place for me to write poetry, or work on artistic ideas. The coffee is reasonably priced, and as someone who is allergic to nuts and mik, I really appreciate the alternative options they have available. This shop is a hidden gem, and a chill place to check out, whether alone or with a friend.
