Grounds For Coffee

I lovee this little cafe. It's the best coffee I've had in a long time. I'm visiting Chicago and this is my new daily stop. Friendly, clean and amazing coffee and treats.

There is currently no indoor seating. Coffee is great though. Also, this particular location is a nicotine free zone, no smoking or vaping even outdoors.

This is my favorite location. I love popping in for a cream cheese Danish and chai chiller. The indoor and outdoor seating is a vibe.

Looking for a local, non-Starbucks, this place is it... excellent coffee that doesn't taste like burnt beans... they have some tasty treats and pastries..I like that they use reusable spoons and not stir sticks.. they use actual mugs for tea, they have to go cups upon request... nice area to sit in and
great views of the mountain... only complaint is the limited parking, but you can park at the liquor store and walk up through the back..

Support your local coffee shop, met some great people here along the way who have introduced me to Martial Arts, Haruki Murakami, and many other good personal memories from Grounds. Oh, their coffee and selections are good too.

Fast service Clean and pleasant.

I absolutely love the variety of different food they serve. Most of the stuff I've never heard of and get the try something new. And it has always been delicious. Oh and the coffee's good too

The service was not friendly and the food was not very great.
Used to love to go here for poetry night but they removed this from their place. Now I have no reason to go there.
They also have some older man who says he is friends with the owners and says he can do what ever he wants . He is rude! He sit's at the biggest table everytime therefore when a group comes in they are not able to sit together. The whole atmosphere here is aweful!

Love their brew here. Always friendly, never making me feel like a complete dummy when I scramble through my order, this I like! Great atmosphere!

Had to change my earlier review of 1 star to 5. They have a great staff who make aure you get taken care of. Suoer friendly. Have been super accommodating during covid. Just awesome deliciousness!!!!!
