Unfortunately Il Posto Rosso was a bit of a miss despite working with some fantastic ingredients and having excellent service. Plating and execution were great, and they have some novel and creative ideas going on, but every dish we tried lacked refinement and left us consistently thinking about what the dish could have been had something been different.

We hope that the chef is open to some constructive criticism, with the quality of ingredients they are working with, this place could easily become one of the best restaurants in Moab with some relatively minor changes to the food. Il Posto Rosso: Listen to your staff, I'm certain they can help recommend some changes that will really elevate the cuisine and respect the ingredients that are being used.

On a recent visit to Moab, I was lucky to secure a reservation for dinner. The small, but amazing hidden gem, is a farm to table + sustainable establishment. I ordered from the dinner menu and made it vegan. The cauliflower, pasta, Angel bread, and squash was the best! Cheers to the Chef and the entire team!

We ended up sharing plates which works well here. The eggplant salad was salty and the Kafka was good but lacked the flavor you would like from a nice restaurant that chose to serve it. We thought the pork tenderloin was excellent and the pasta also great.

Excellent Service
Very nice Restaurant
Everything was delicious
Super friendly staff
Unfortunately VERY EXPENSIVE

We went for thanksgiving dinner, My husband found this restaurant for this special nigh and made a reservation 2 weeks ahead of time for our fall vacations

Surprise!!!!
There was only one menu option of $78/$132 per person, four course dinner 😰 with nice selection and excellent quality to be honest….

But I was looking forward for a nice, delicious salad only and had to go through all of it, too much.

Tyler was great!

All the food uses local ingredients. A bit pricey, but delicious. Chicken was well seasoned!

Great place for dinner after a long day at Arches.

Just a tiny bit overpriced in my opinion BUT I will say it was an excellent experience. It's very small, only a handful of tables so definitely get a reservation. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked - especially the steak and scallops which are so often overcooked at other restaurants. A few dishes were just a touch too salty (like the mushrooms with the scallops) which I felt threw off the balance of the dish and masked the simple "fresh" flavor of the ingredients themselves, but in general the flavors were thoughtful, inventive, and the cocktails were so fun and delicious! The hostess and waiters were so so nice and great at explaing they want the experience to be about sharing small plates, taking your time, and relaxing. Unfortunately I think we were the only ones doing that this night which is a shame because it was perfect for just that. They also have delicious espresso to accompany your dessert (get the torte!!) which was delightful.

Amazing experience last night. My husband and I were sat in a beautiful and comfortable corner section adorned with throw pillows. The rock star was a deliciously sweet and creamy blueberry lavender drink, their Americano was made to perfection. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection and the Chipotle dipping sauce will be engraved In my memory forever. The gnocchi tasted so fresh and the carrots were so light and refreshing. Their decedent dessert was the topper of the night. And the crumbly cookie was just Devine. 👌

Hidden Gem if you are in Moab! Every single bite was FANTASTIC! Generous portions, artistic presentation. Apps to dessert, we tried it all. Love the attention to detail. After a day hiking at Arches, such a luxurious dinner really hits the spot.

Wonderful service and chef who made my birthday dinner special! Though there aren’t many vegan options on the menu, my partner called ahead and they assured him they would be able to accommodate us. When we arrived, we were surprised by a complimentary fried tofu and Brussels sprouts appetizer, an off-menu creation of the chef. For mains, we got the arriabata (so good) and an off-menu veggie pasta, which came out chock full of a variety of mushrooms. The stars of the show though were the focaccia (which came out with mushrooms instead of cheese for us) and the cocktails! Absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for a great meal and special evening, my compliments to the chef!

Finally, an amazing restaurant in Moab. The chef comes from Amangiri Resort and uses all local ingredients to create mouth watering food. The food was magic on the taste buds. Using local produce, eggs, meats, Honey, by far, the best restaurant in Moab. I love their "to-go" menu for quick take meals for your adventures! An absolute gem and soooo happy that this restaurant has come to town!
