Morty's Cafe: Logan

Great food and service! Batter dipped fries and sweet potato fries were great. Chocolate shake was intense! If you're plant based, I'd suggest the bean patty unless you really like mushrooms. I like mushrooms, but the portobello was too much. Great place though. Will definitely reload.

I got the special. It was a Philly cheese hamburger. It was really quite good. Lots and lots of meat and cheese. Definitely something I would go back for.

The fries were easily my favorite part though. They had the perfect taste and texture.

My kids both enjoyed there food too. One had a grilled cheese, the other had the kids slider hamburger.

My wife had some sandwich that I can remember and she loved it.

She also had onion rings which were unique. We haven't really found anything comparable. They had the right texture, were really crispy and weren't to greasy.

Tl,dr worth a stop. There are cheaper places around, but this place will not disappoint.

This is one of the best burger places that I have been to. I eat here almost every Thursday with my friends, and sometimes other days of the week. The staff is friendly and efficient at getting your order out. As for the food, it is AWESOME!! The burgers are perfectly cooked, and the vegetables are always fresh. The battered fries never disappoint and complement the burgers amazingly. Good Job Morty's!!

I've eaten here a lot since they opened. The burgers are usually fantastic, with the occasional dud. This most recent visit was probably the best burger I've had yet! Their cook is on their game! I love the burger of the month too. My wife loves the PB&j burger, and I love the October special, the mortician.

The food is decent priced and the taste is not bad. I had a three bean veggie burger. It tasted alright, but I would have liked more sauce. The sweet potatoes are delicious but a little too crisp for my taste. My only real critique is that parking is a real hassle.

Maybe the best burger I've ever had. I did a custom classic with bacon and Korean BBQ sauce. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the scone fries too. There are two locations in close proximity. We found the one at blue square just west of the stadium easier to access with parking. It is also technically on campus and takes the student's cards.

Good hamburgers with a special on Thursdays, non- specialty burger with fries for $6.00. Parking is limited and street parking is a little walk away. You need to place your order on the ground floor where they have indoor and outdoor tables. You may also take your food to the 2nd floor balcony and enjoy the panoramic western view of Logan and beyond. The tables on the second floor are sporadically cleaned so be prepared to wipe the crumbs from the table yourself.

I used to love Morty's. Specially studying and working at the University.
But today, they were fully staffed, and took 27 minutes to get my order of 1 burger ready. No fries, no sides, just the burger.
Also, the guy taking food to guests helped put food in containers and bags. He didn't wash his hands or put gloves on when he jumped in to help. He dropped a small container of fry sauce from the bar, picked it up, and just put it back in the bar to put in a to go order. Also, I don't know if my order was sitting for a while, because my burger was luke warm by the time I FINALLY got to eat it.
I get that it got a little busy, but fully staffed and it still took almost half an hour to make 1 burger? And a couple dining in waiting for their food had to get up and ask about their order they were waiting so long. And when they got their food, they got the order wrong.
Maybe staff just needs to be retrained.
I hope this was a one time thing, and if I try Morty's again, it'll be a better experience.

A little pricey, but we'll worth it! The Hawaiian was my favorite, but don't be afraid of the kimchi burger. It's a close second on my list.
