Sadly, this is nothing like the original location. I ordered their Liege waffles and it doesn’t come with syrup. They don’t even stock syrup or butter. Who wants to eat a dry waffle?
Their specialty drink fridge was completely empty and they don’t serve soft drinks. Seems like they don’t put any effort into the place.
I just DEMOLISHED a quiche from here, 10/10. Decent espresso, although Caffe Ibis has the best espresso in town and I will die on that hill, bit it's all good cause the espresso is still good, and this is first and foremost a pastry shop anyways!! 😀
The quiche is SO good! I really have never had a better, flakier crust. I've had it a few times and sometimes it has a bit of a soggy bottom, but when it's cooked just right, it's epic! I don't like the bacon variety either, big chunks of undercooked bacon, but I like my bacon extra crispy. I looked at the menu and went in for a sandwich that liked good but it's not offered at this location. I thought the lunch special was pretty pricey, especially compared to Old Gristmill, so I haven't tried their lunch. But I keep going back for the quiche! 😋
Pros: Great breakfast! I wish they had the same options as the southern location (this one is pretty minimal), but I was very pleased with the food (and the bread!). Great lunch combo. The sandwiches are pretty good.
Cons: The staff is very mixed. In the 3 times I've gone, I've gotten very attentive, not attentive at all, and moderately attentive staff. It seems like they're always over-staffed and only 1 person is working while the other 2 are just chatting and not helping guests. Unfortunately, some of the workers appeared really dirty (body odor, dirty nails) - luckily, they weren't the ones making my lunch. I would have given this location a 3 star review if it weren't for the one employee who is always diligently working and making the sandwiches - she is great.
In short : it's a convenient location, but the staff is a hit and miss.
I love the new location! So convenient for us north logan peeps. The sandwiches are some of the best in logan, the pastries are beautiful, and the coffee is strong. The service has been fantastic every single time. Keep it up Crumb Bros 2!
I would like to go here again because the pastries were pretty yummy but I will not go again unless they have some sort of dress code and self respect. I went in with my teenage son and the girls were there working in sport bras. Not only does that come off as nasty but I won’t support a business where the employees can’t respect themselves or the customers. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.

The crumb Brothers boutique is a charming shop with friendly staff. A hidden gem, I had their blackberry Danish, a delicious flakey bite.

I went a couple minutes before 3pm, google said you were open. There were two people working, but they told me you're closed.

The cinnamon sugar pull-apart croissant was STUNNING. Excellent ham and cheese croissant as well. Friendly, attentive staff.
