Terrific place to eat, food is wonderful! Always busy and sometimes hard to get thru the line, but definitely worth it!! Killer desserts too! Can't be beat for home style cooking served in a cafeteria-style line!

I have traveled nearly every state in our country and most of Europe, and this is hands down the best cafe I have ever been in. The food is as good as food can be, and the service is always the perfect balance between speed and hometown helpful. If you are anywhere in south Texas it is worth the drive, do not miss it.

The baked goods are deliciojs, especially the kolaches. The breakfast was only okay but they messed up our order and wanted to charge us more to correct their mistake. It was a quick, quiet, homey stop as we drove through the area.

Very nice burger, though one lunch companion's food was cold and one's was just right.

BBQ was good. Fried squash and okra had an old oil taste which was very disappointing. My son did enjoy the meatloaf.

Good pork steak and brisket

Kolaches are tasty and a family hit from the pineapple to the cream cheese...you really can't go wrong with any choice here. Quaint and clean. A must to visit as they were listed in "Texas Monthly" for their pies.

Amazing home cooked food!!

Great food and better service, I can't wait until I have to come back. This is my new spot when I come to Yoakum.

Friendly staff. Great pastry items. Reasonable prices. We go there every time we are in Yoakum.
