Brown House Cafe

It was pretty busy at 11:00am Sunday. They said a 30 minute wait but it was only 20. I had the omelette and it was delicious!!

Outstanding. Excellent food and MUCH better than the chain-restaurants around town. Clean with good service.

Their food is good but service is horrible. Probably some of the worst that I have ever had. I wouldn't post a bad review if I had bad service once or twice but when your pick-up order is incorrect five times in a row it becomes note worthy. When you get tired of it and are forced to contact them, they really should make some effort to correct the issue. When you dine in the service is still really bad.

Food is ok, price is not bad. A little cheaper than other places. I wouldn't go there again forbreakfast honestly. I got biscuit and gravy, the biscuit was fluffy and good but a little dry. Gravy didn't have a lot of flavor. Got 3 little Sausages on the side. I have eaten better somewhere else in town.

Not convenient for little kids.

Great service, friendly staff and the food is so amazing. Would love to see more locations in the area. Great country food. Highly recommend.

I went for lunch hoping for a quick meal. It was reasonably fast. The dining room filled up fast. When I got up I didn't realize there was a line. I had the BLT. It had been recommended to me on Facebook. They used green leaf lettuce instead of iceberg (I hate iceberg). The bacon was crisp. The toast was toasted properly. Sometimes the bread is gooey inside and I don't like that. It was sourdough bread. They are open until 9pm which is great. I love that the location is near my office. The server was friendly and attentive. For my side I had the taco soup. It was delicious, but the chips were a bit stale. I'll definitely be back.

If you like a restaurant with a hostess that has a condescending attitude that leaves you wondering how they have not terminated them yet, then you would like this restaurant

Leslie did a great job and was extremely patient with our party of four that included my 90 year old father. He has a hard time getting around and his hearing is almost gone even with hearing aids from a war in the 50's and a lifetime in factories prior to hearing conservation measures. She noticed his struggles and took the time to speak loudly and make us feel comfortable which is not usually the practice in most restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great lunch.

Needed a good meal while traveling and Brown House Cafe was recommended. The service was kind and helpful in my meal choice. The food was comforting and fresh. Took coconut pie to-go which was just amazing as the meal.

Great service, big portions! My family and a friend's family stopped by to try it today. Good American dinner style food (excellent!) And portions are generous, Texas style! My wife and I shared the Fried Stake and eggs and added toasts as a side. Once the food came, we realized we would have left overs :) Our 2 years shared the fingers and pancakes, the "almost" finished.

We didn't know they even have a drive-in style, to-go setup, great to pick up and and eat it at home.
