1st timer...a great place. This diner has a really good breakfast. They actually have black rifle coffee!!! No wonder so packed. Worth the wait. Hostess very friendly and accommodating. Plus, the people...we met some some of the nicest people while waiting

This place has some really amazing food and the staff is awesome too. Andy is a rockstar server very attentive and kind. If you're lucky enough to have Joseph prepare your food then you will be in for a treat. I had the Cobb salad with the fried chicken and let me tell you the chicken was juicy, crispy, and had a perfect ratio of breading to chicken. The bacon is high quality and gives just the right crunch texture and saltiness to the dish. All the vegetables tasted really fresh and the portion was very respectful. I couldn't decide on the sauce so I got their home made ranch and thousand islands on the side and tried a little of both. Personally switching back and forth between the two sauces elevated the dish to the highest of uncharted territory. They sell large quantities of the ranch which means people buy large quantities of their home made ranch. Buy some ranch and dip your favorite ranch vessel in there. In the picture there is also chicken fried chicken I recommend taking some of that chicken and putting it in the loaded baked potato. Now if you're feeling adventurous throw in some of that Mac n cheese in there too. Since they provide so much food plan accordingly. Save some room for the coconut cream pie the cream is really good however for me just a tad bit more whip cream than I would have liked. They have a long list of pies to try so pick your favorite. I wish I lived closer I would definitely visit more often. If you're in the area skip the tourist spots with the long lines and try some food prepared with love and experience.

1st time visitors and we will return! Nice open seating, great attentive wait staff. Had queso with beef/chips to start, enough for 5 to share. Entree of Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/side salad 2 could share, Grilled chicken in spinach wrap, Salmon with 2 sides, Chicken Fried Steak, and Cheeseburger with Fried Egg. All delicious!

We are from out of town and decided to try their food. Wait was short, food came out fast and warm. Husband ordered the biscuit gravy plate. Biscuits were full of flavor and not dry. I ordered the French toast plate. It was amazing! Loved the food and vibe of the place. Best breakfast we have had!

Food is good but could definitely use some seasoning . I'm not sure they use any salt , pepper or anything when cooking some of their stuff.. My wife got a grilled chicken breast and it was just that. A piece of chicken on a flat top with zero seasoning. I tried the catfish and shrimp which was very good! The cheese sticks are amazing and huge don't get a big order

Great little place, hostess was a sweet heart! Group of 3, we all ordered the same dish, chicken and pancakes as well as a small order of mozzarella sticks. The food was great and service was wonderful. Portions are big so I wasn’t able to finish my meal but will definitely give this establishment my business.

This was a trifecta for us, 1st time to visit, our 1st breakfast in our new home town and our 1st family event in our new home town. We'll the Irish luck seemed to once again happen. When we walked in no waiting immediate setting but by the time we left a line was beginning to form. There was a service hiccup, 1.they sit us next to the window, although they had the sun blocker screens down you could feel the heat so we asked if we could move and this is when it happened. The Host came over and asked for our drink order because she said the waitress was talking orders from a table with multiple guest. 2. The Host got the drink order wrong, 3 waters, 1 coffee & 2 large Orange Juice, but we got 3 waters and 2 coffees. Then the table that took our first table, got their order taken first. The redemption came from the very tasteful and good food. So there was 3 of us. I got the jumbo 3 egg omelet with double sausage with cheese, spinach and mushrooms. It came with extra lots of yummy choices. I had a large OJ and I added a fruit cup. The ladies got the French Toast dish. "It was crunchy and gooey" your choice of egg and meat. Now the wife got a side order of biscuit and gravy. She said "the biscuit was crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside". Im told the pot roast is killer, so Ill be back again for that. To the owner, I just write about my personal experience only. Don't forget to like this post and share comments and I see you soon, bon appetit!

I really wanted to give this place a great review based on its rate score from previous guest. However, when you first walk in, this place has a down home, laid back vibe, and it was crowded and monothematic in its presence. (brown and more brown everywhere). I wasn't impressed at all. I was greeted by the hostess and was told it would be a few minutes before I could be seated.
A minute or two later, the waitress took me to my table. The table and chairs look old and uninviting, and guess what...brown. Hmmm...I'm not getting a good vibe of this place at all. Remember when I stated it was crowded? Well, yep. I tolerated listening to several young children screaming and crying while I tried to give my order to the waitress. I know its not the childrens fault, but maybe they were just as unimpressed and stressed as I was.
Anyway, I ordered the French
Toast with chicken sausage, grits and scrambled eggs, and a coffee. The wait took about 10 minutes...okay not a big deal. But when I got my food, again, visually, I was not impressed. It was brown except for my yellow scrambled eggs. The presentation was boring, my food was luke warm, and my coffee was bitter. Oh and the syrup container was covered in syrup droplets...seriously? See the photo I posted. That's just nasty. Please wipe them off. I had no tolerance between hearing screaming children, cold food, and an uninterested waitress to complain and ask that my food be remade. People have a certain expectation of how they like their food served and how flavorful it is. Brown House Cafe is lacking in visual presentation, its environment, and bland food. If it improves on these three basic things, then it might get more stars and a more well-deserved review, but for today, they get a one star.

OMG everything was AMAZING!! First time going there and will definitely be back. Been seeing this place all over social media so I was excited to try it. I order the biscuit and gravy. My husband got a omelet with spinach, tomato, onion, bacon, cheese and we split a side of French toast and that was to die for. Definitely recommend to try this place out. The food, atmosphere, and the staff were awesome.
