I grew up around Waco and since moving away it’s gotten way cooler? Idk. This place had really great coffee. I loved the aesthetic and it seems like a nice place to hangout a while, but we were in a grab-and-go situation. The latte was way smaller than normal for the price point. While the coffee was quality and it had a nice vibe, I think I’ll try somewhere new next time we drive through town.

Great coffee and hot chocolate. Awesome atmosphere! Don't feel like coffee, they have teas, lemonade and across the cozy courtyard you can even get beer from a pretty impressive menu. Fun for all ages! Definitely a must visit while in Waco.

Adorable coffee shop with a great ambiance. It’s a sweet place to sit and stay a while. There’s plenty of seating, good music and a cozy feel, overall I loved the place. I would note that their coffee is a bit pricey for the amount you get.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Waco! The staff is always super nice, the coffee is steaming and delish, the music is on point...but it's the courtyard that wins my heart. Sitting outside under the oaks while I work makes computer time not-so-bad.
Especially love how they support other local small businesses. All around a great spot!!
Atmosphere? Awesome
People? Very cool
Coffee? Yummmm

Delicious coffee. My wife and I always get basic hot lattes with the house brown sugar syrup added. Always great music playing on their record player. We prefer the giant outdoor seating area. Covered under a massive live oak tree. One of our favorite places in Waco!

I absolutely loved my experience at Pinewood Coffee in Waco, TX. I found myself visiting every morning because the atmosphere was just so enjoyable. The coffee shop has a cozy, rustic vibe and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed sipping my coffee in the courtyard, which had plenty of seating and was surrounded by greenery.
One thing to note is that Pinewood Coffee can get quite busy, even on weekdays. It's not uncommon to have a hard time finding a place to sit, even though there are 5 booths inside and the courtyard is spacious. Despite this, the popularity of the coffee shop is a testament to how great it is, so I would still highly recommend it.
In terms of the coffee itself, it was always delicious and expertly brewed.
Overall, Pinewood Coffee is a must-visit spot in Waco and I can't wait to go back.

Great authentic experience place for coffee and studying. We came to work and there wasn’t a spot open! Thankfully the sun was shining and we could sit outside for a bit. The guy taking orders was great, the coffee makers seemed frustrated and had some attitude for a Sunday!

Great Coffee and great vibes. There's a shop for Coffee and a Shop for beer just next door, which has a really nice selection of draft beers. The outdoor seating between the two shops is super nice 🌳☕🍺

Was looking for a coffee shop with good Wi-Fi, a space to work remotely, and good specialty coffee.
Pinewood Coffee checked all three. ✅

The best coffee in Waco and it isn't particularly close. Baristas are trained more consistently here than anywhere else in town. If you come here, you'll get a quality beverage pretty much every time. Music is nearly always top-notch, though I wish they'd cut out the very occasional country record (just me). Seating can be a bit of an issue but that's par for the course with many great coffee shops.
