The first coffee shop I visited when I moved to Tyler from Dallas. Super excited to see growing coffee culture here! I wasn’t a huge fan initially of their espresso blend but I recently went back after hearing they changed it. Way better, IMO. I think the espresso before was too light for my taste. Generally good Customer Service but if they are busy it tends to go down. Personally not a fan of the drip coffees. Pastries from Sola and Delightful are always a hit.

Afternoon treat and knocking out some work. A beautiful cup of coffee and great ambiance. Highly recommend

Generally good coffee. Sometimes a little bitter. Didn't have heavy cream when I went. Good value considering it's cheaper than starbucks for comparable drink sizes. Great work space if you bring your laptop. Wifi is also pretty good. Other than no cream, the baristas sometimes sit on the prep counter so that's kinda gross.

I absolutely love The Foundry. Great atmosphere and amazing customer service. My latte is always made the same way, beautifully brewed and SO tasty!!!

This is a wonderful coffee shop in Tyler, TX. I’ve been to specialty coffee places all over the US and this is easily top 10. They always have their espresso machine tuned (at least every time I’ve been here), and the atmosphere is awesome.

Very nice place to have coffee or tea
Nice layout and much larger on the inside than I thought. Nice outdoor patio area.
A little pricey for a smaller serving size of coffee....but oh the things we do for COFFEE
joe coats

This was my second trip to The Foundry and after this one, if I return and it’s better I will change it.
My first experience was pleasant. I had an iced latte and it was really good. The employee was nice.
Today my husband came with me. He is a serious coffee drinker. He understands flavor notes and the art of making a great shot or cup of coffee. While the guy there was friendly the lady pulling the shots was pretty rude. The shot was extremely bitter and his pour over was somewhat watery. He tried to take the shot back up because it was too bitter to drink. Before he could open his mouth, she said, “actually dirty dishes don’t belong here”, and pointed to the corner. Not wanting to respond rudely, we just left. We don’t mind paying extra for the coffee but the employee there today needs a lesson in customer service and how to pull a shot, as well. I understand sometimes a coffee shop can be hit or miss, depending on the barista but I decided to leave the review purely because of her attitude. She was laughing and talking to another employee right before, so assume it wasn’t just a bad day.

The Foundry is a beautiful, roomy place with lovely staff who are skilled in their craft. I got a Honduran Pour-over that met my expectations. Surprisingly the brew on drip is what stood out. With bright acidity, medium body, and a balanced finish, I happily would return for another cup.

A truly unique coffee experience, The Foundry offers a very relaxed and open environment to enjoy time with friends, study for a test, or just kick back with a good cup of coffee. The coffee is the best in town, topped only by their knowledgeable and friendly staff. There’s something for everyone, as they offer dessert items, sodas, and sandwiches as well. Live music can frequently be enjoyed here as well. Some of my best times in town have been here, simply taking in the city’s local flavors and good vibes!
