Super cute inside and inviting. But if im paying almost 8 bucks for a coffee I sort of figured I would get what I ordered. I was the only person inside other than 2 employees. And I ordered a large caramel mocha with 2 extra shots. And she said heres your latte. And I asked this is a latte?I ordered a mocha,I thought they are totally different. Then after I mentioned that she said mocha-latte,it made me feel uncomfortable for even asking. There isn't caramel or chocolate in this coffee. When I travel I always try to go to local small coffee shops and businesses,I definitely don't want to worry about feeling forced to take something I didn't order:(

A solid and much needed vibe for down town. The coffee is delicious, service excellent, and a great hang out.

Phenomenal place with a great atmosphere. The positive vibe and great people make this a go to destination before/after meetings in Tyler. The Bottomless Cup for coffee is perfect for someone who likes to sip, work or read while chillin' here. Park on Broadway or in the parking garage across the street.

At sunset, the tables by the street will be looking straight into the sun. Heads up!

If you park in the parking garage, bring your ticket with you and on your way back, use the pay station in the garage to pay your parking. Easy in/out.

Was a decent iced latte. Better then any chain coffee for sure. Will go back to try more.

LOVE The Foundry! The Baristas are passionate about their product and seem very polite and talkative. The atmosphere is fantastic for studying and hanging out - I usually go there after school and after work to focus. They've got an awesome community surrounding them and it's a great place to hear about up-coming event.

Lots of seating options. Chairs and couches to relax and enjoy a conversation. Many tables have access to plugs for laptops, etc. If you want to do some work. A large open space with interesting decor. Great place to relax and enjoy the coffee.

The Foundry is the best coffeehouse in Tyler. They take care in coffee prep and the baristas know craft coffee methods (their pour over is great). The environment is relaxed and bright and easy to get work done in or have an afternoon chat with a friend. My favorite place in Tyler to sit with a good book.

The Foundry is fantastic. They serve some of the best espresso in East Texas. There are very few coffee shops in this area that serve high-quality espresso; The Foundry is one of them. Their quality has steadily increased over the years. In their early years (2014-2016), I wouldn't go there because the coffee just... wasn't good. These days, I've been known to go there a dozen times a month because the coffee is just. that. good.

Menu Specifics:
--The Foundry offers pour-overs on the Kalita and the Chemex.
--Their drip is both cheap and uncommonly delicious for drip coffee.
--They serve a conventional espresso setup with a small glass of sparkling water.
--They carry Porch Culture beans (roasted on-site, though the roaster has different owners). They sometimes have a featured roaster.
--They have a variety of teas.
--Their syrups are made from scratch.
--Their pastries are made from scratch in an off-site Foundry Kitchen.

Random Specifics:
--Seating was a major issue around 2014-2016, but they've added tables over the years. It's seldom an issue these days.
--The baristas knowledgeable. They're also friendly and are generally willing to engage in conversation if they're available.
--Park in the garage across Broadway from the shop! There's plenty of room, and it's free.

Never been to Tyler Texas but we stop by The Foundry and it was awesome. The quality of coffee is amazing. The customer service was on point. If I ever go back to Tyler, Texas I will definitely be stopping by The Foundry again. I did buy the Coffee Bean they roast as a gift and I'm excited to have my friend try it.
