My husband and I LOVE this place! We usually go to Waco (it's a closer drive),but we have been making the trip to Temple just for this coffee! It's definitely worth it, the coffee and options are amazing š
I haven't found a better coffee shop yet! Also I love the staff they are so kind to us!

Me, looking at a bag of retail coffee roasted two months ago: āIām surprised yāall are selling coffee roasted in Augustā¦ā
Barista, uncaringly: āCoffee is good for 6 months.ā
On the one hand, Iām glad you are transparent on roast dates, even when theyāre older than expected. On the other hand, you have āRoastersā in your business name and I would expect fresh offerings. $18 for 12oz of 2 month old coffee? Why do that when I can get Starbucks for $15/lb?
It might do for now, but hereās hoping some real competition opens up in Temple some day soon. Perhaps in the meantime Iāll go with mail order coffee that will be more fresh for my purposes.
Edit: took the bag home and discovered it wasnāt entirely sealed across the top. This is the second time this has happened to me with coffee at this store. Disappointing.

I've been going here since it opened and I always have a great time! I've never had a bad drink and I love sampling their different flavors. The signature Texas Vanilla is my favorite flavor to add to a cap or a latte. They also have great food/snack options. 1st street has that big-city coffee shop vibe that I love. It's a great place to get some work done or to bring my daughter to play. We love the playground, especially the fact that it is closed off. Definitely recommend whether you are just passing through or a local!

The barista was super sweet & made great recommendations! The chai latte was amazing as well, since it's so hard to find a good balance of spice and it not being too sweet aka like Starbucks. The coffee was fresh & not burnt or sludge tasting. They also have a variety of milks to choose from, for those that may be lactose intolerant. The coffee making area was very clean which I did notice & appreciate, the tables not so much but with such great service and quality of coffee, I can only express a 5 star rating.

Great coffee in a cozy atmosphere. They have a limited menu for food offerings for a morning snack, but the quiche is quite good.

They have one of the best coffee, not too weak as it has been my experience around town. Very reasonable prices. Their espressos are perfection. Friendly baristas and nice, casual mood.

First time I ever went here, been meaning to. I had to get out for a bit downtown and ordered a large Texas Redhead, rasberry and vanilla. Very good! Atmosphere was suitably chill. Might take my laptop down here and get some writing done some day.

The lemon poppy scone was not very lemon. It was ok but think there pastries are a bit overpriced. Outsourcing is great at helping other businesses get off the ground but need to tast better. Wife liked the coffee.

This mocha espresso was amazing! So smooth. Definitely will be going back for this and their in house roasted bean bag!

Excellent lattes, very unique flavors and options. Loved the dirty matcha and spice of life.
