Nice place to stop but a coffee. Decent but not stellar. Loved the little rack of used novels to buy. Got a 50 cent book to read on my vacation.

Absolutely love the cuteness of this cafe! Our coffeemaker in the condo stopped working and by a stroke of luck we ended up seeing this place. The people are extremely nice and polite. The environment is quiet and relaxing with a book area and comfortable seating area with games and newspapers. They offer a variety of coffees, donuts, pastries and even crossaints and bagels. I wish there was a coffee shop like near my home.

I've been coming to the island for years, but must have missed this gem. You walk in and immediately feel like you're back in Austin. Way to go, fellas.

Loved the veggie Panini sandwich. It came with chips. Also the capuchino was good. Recommend this place for a good, quality breakfast!

I was at South Padre for a vacation during Thanksgiving break. I was craving coffee and since this place was close to my hotel and the reviews were good, I decided to give it a shot. I wanted to get their frappe but hesitated as it was seven dollars. However the barista told me it was worth the money because it was 24 oz and delicious. I was easily persuaded and watched as she made my drink. Off the bat, I noticed that she had put way too much ice in the blender but I brushed it off thinking it wouldn't matter. On top of that, after the espresso shot came out of machine, I noticed that the barista poured out a little of that precious caffeine into the sink. The drink ended up being so watery, that it tasted like shredded ice with a bit of milk and a touch of coffee. Not to mention, my family ordered some drinks too, their pumpkin spice just tasted like bland pumpkin puree and the vanilla latte was overpowered with syrup. Would not recommend this place as it's a waste of money.

GREAT coffee and breakfast spot! Different sandwiches and crepes (both sweet and savory). They have stellar affogato too (coffee or espresso with ice cream)! Happy and friendly service as well

The place is very nice, the tree little corner is magical! Location is perfect for the island, coffee and hot chocolate are delicious and the staff is very kind
