Excellent Latte... the best in San Antonio and incomparable service, very affordable prices, I highly recommend it!

Love Merit! This location is super clean. Along as you don't mind street parking, this location is super nice. Not a lot of seating, so if it's busy, be prepared to share a table with a stranger.

Cool place, good coffee, chill vibe. Free WiFi (w/password) and outlets conveniently located throughout.

The place is very well located in Broadway street, alamo heights, which is the best residential location in san antonio. Furniture are old wood which is lovely. Is small shop but very busy after 9 am.

Great coffee! Strong yet smooth. You can buy gift cards and great coffee packs as gifts. Great place to sit and just enjoy some coffee

This place has gone downhill since the pandemic. Staff constantly is slow in their service or out of coffee... at a coffee shop! The true irony. And the last visit, a group of regulars on Saturday morning early were yelled at when headed outside NOT to be rearranging tables to seat a larger group! There's better options, even in the '09. Check out revolutions down the street, or corner bakery at the Quarry or if you can stab out a little further, Black Rifle off bitters! All great service & prices, and never rude to customers, or without regular coffee!

I've gone here for a couple years now and every time I go it's sublime. The best, most flavorful coffee I've ever had, with rotating pour-over selections. I got the affogato for my brother who doesn't like coffee and he loved it. The atmosphere is fantastic and staff is friendly. It's not for a cheap cup of caffeine you NEED, it's for an experience you WANT and can enjoy. Hands down, Merit is my favorite coffee shop, and this location is fantastic.

Merit has a great feel to it! I had a bit of downtime before I had to be at the airport and decided to try a coffee shop nearby! The staff was very friendly. Although it was super busy when I arrived at around 3 PM on a Friday afternoon. I took that as a good sign that it’s a great place! I’d recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Alamo Heights area.

Coffee is good. I understand why this cafe is so popular. Sadly, the overwhelming business means massive delays. 40 minutes for a latte and cold brew was disappointing even tho the product was great.
I would recommend this for leisurely weekdays, but strongly advise against going on weekends or if you’re short on time.

My mom had been eyeing this place for so long and finally gave it a try, but was really disappointed. Here is her review.
I had never been here and had been wanting to go there because I love coffee and I was so disappointed. The coffee was poured from a Tupperware Pitcher and messed me up then the coffee was cold then I told him and he pours me another cup from the same pitcher but put less milk and still not good but I left.
