Merit Coffee

Almond croissants!!! I am in love with their almond butter croissants! I never thought I would repeat any restaurant so fast in San Antonio..but I keep coming and buy at least two almond butter croissants, one for dine in and another to go..so that I can watch my favorite shows on TV and enjoy the croissant..!! Will go tomorrow again!

Ordered ice coffee, peppermint mocha, two breakfast tacos and a plain bagel. Was told they would call my name when ready. Name was never called .
Went to counter only to fi d out that bagel had been taken and ther were out. Was not offended another option just that they were out. I did recieve a refund, but left hungry.

Friendly staff. Love the rustic building. House Coffee was ok. The cappuccino and latte were delicious

Coffee was delicious! So much so that we adjusted our travel plans to make sure we stopped by for a cup on our way home from vacation. This is how coffee should be done, hands down.

Chose merit over bird bakery and immediately regretted my decision when I touched my hard-rock breakfast sandwich.First, I was expecting a sandwich bread not a bagel. I definitely wasn't expecting a burnt bagel. I am not exaggerating when I say that I couldnt bite into it until 10 mins later. I actually burnt my lips. I didn't complain because the ambience was relax and I didn't want to disturb. The batistas did seem overwhelmed and rushed-that should've been a warning sign for me. I am writing this review because I need the staff to know it is not okay to overheat food. I am upset that I didn't request my order to be redone. 😔

Coffee is awesome, service is awesome. The atmosphere is wonderful. Staff is always really nice.

This place is great. The staff as well as the customers who come here are all very friendly. The atmosphere inside is a huge contributor to this. We will be back again very soon.

Merit Coffee, or Local, is a nice coffee shop in the San Antonio area. The staff was very friendly and the coffee had great flavor. Definitely recommend Merit Coffee (Local).
