I decided to try coffee from Amaretti just right before morning church service. I had not eaten breakfast so I gave their banana donut a try and to my surprise was absolutely delicious! I am very picky with banana so I keep it safe and stick to just eating actual bananas rather than banana loaf, muffins, scones, etc. The vanilla latte I ordered was smooth. The service was extremely friendly. Cute place. I will definitely make time to come back to enjoy their coffee again while I study.
Pretty cool little place at the same location as Brown coffee on Broadway near the Pearl. Very nice selection of teas and coffees , along with some sodas and some nice cookies to go with it. They are Indian influenced and have an excellent sable cookie made with cumin that was excellent. The spice mixture for the masala chai was spot on and having this infused in a French press brought out the flavors rather than the traditional boil method. The herbal teas were well blended too and there is something for everyone here.
We are always on the lookout for new local coffee shops and Amaretti coffee didn't disappoint. We visited during an off peak time and had no wait to order. Our drinks were perfect and delicious. The temperature was right on. My wife said hers was an almost perfect cup. The decor and vibe is casual and comfortable. The only somewhat downside is parking. There are a couple of slots right in front, but if those are taken you will have to park across Broadway somewhere and cross a very busy street. If that's the case, be careful and enjoy a really good cup of coffee. You won't be disappointed.
I grabbed an iced oat milk latte, which was okay espresso. Parking in this area isn't great, but I managed to snag a decent spot with minimal walking. The barista was so sweet and kind. She gave me some tips to find some local stores, which I appreciated. Good little spot if you're in the area.
Read the reviews and my only hesitarion was due to imited parking. However, it is more than worth parking on a side street and taking a short walk. Great coffee, chai and vegan desserts. I unfortunately ate the chocolate muffin before I could take a pic. Service is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely switching my morning stop to Amaretti.
This was a very nice coffee shop. The coffee was really good and the kolache was delicious. Hope to visit again and I definitely recommend.
Update: Visited again before leaving and it was just as phenomenal! Customer Service was excellent and service was quick. Plus I got to take a pic of my Kolache before devouring it. Lol
Great place for real Indian Chai and the pastries just like I make it at home! Modern decor and love the San Antonio Skyline Mural on their wall. They have a limited menu since they just opened but the owner says there will be more menu additions and improvements made to satisfy their customers.
Happy to have spotted this new coffee shop!! The iced dirty chai was very good, but it came at a price. Definitely worth a try! I’ll be back to taste their original chai that everyone is raving about
Amaretti is a very cute, small, quiet local coffee shop with great quality drinks. I get an iced americano with SF hazelnut and oat milk. So delicious! They also have vegan pastries! I had their blueberry scone and it was the perfect snack. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot! ☕️☺️
Phillip served us and he was amazing! He’s so knowledgeable and very friendly. We were trying the chai and he overheard my siblings talking about sharing. He offered to split the chai into separate cups for us without even asking. So nice! Great quiet place with plenty of seating.
