The Mesquite Bean Cafe

The food was excellent my first time today for lunch. Had the Wednesday lunch special, steak bites in au jus with onions and mushrooms and two sides. Steak was tender and juicy, with a subtle flame broiled tase. Very good!

Their soda machine was down. Orange juice was bitter. Tea machine was running slooowwww. The actual meal was amazing and our server was very apologetic and sweet. Prices are amazing.

Customer service was good our waitress did a great job. The sandwich was not what I expected, not enough dressing on the bread couldn't taste it much. And at the end getting cashed out the lady not very customer friendly unless she picks her customers or maybe just wasn't her day.

This is great little restaurant serving home style food!

I call them to get some information about there restaurant and the lady o the call said in a very rude tone that please do not call on this number this is how you treat your customer

Always awesome!! Usually order the San Angelo and it’s consistently perfect! Love that it’s on sourdough and it’s toasted! (Just like mama used to make for me!) the sweet tea is a huge bonus and I love that they use the cactus juice to sweeten it…super yummy! Service is always with a smile!! If you’re not eating here all the time you are missing out!!

Great food and best prices in area. Nicely decorated. Plain, simple, and clean. Not too many places where you can get a breakfast sandwich for less than $5 anymore. Service was great, and barely any people in the am hours, as most are late risers here. Only about 5 items on the breakfast menu and hours are limited, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Open at 8AM, which is earlier than most places here, but only open until 2PM, and not open on weekends. Conveniently located in the downtown area and easy to find.

The tilapia lunch special was amazing! The lunch beef tenders were oh so tender and juicy. Yum! The green beans had a sweet taste to them, not my style but still good. The prices are great. Mesquite Bean Cafe is my new favorite lunch spot. I wish I had gotten pics as the presentation was nice, too. Next time.

I ate here this morning for breakfast and had the breakfast taco without the tortilla, so they just made me an omelet, really. It was very tasty and came with a flavorful salsa (though I'd always opt for very spicy salsa). Good food, good service, and a very comfortable ambiance for laptop work. On

Went here with a group of co workers for a birthday lunch at the request of the Birthday girl. I got the beef bits with sauteed mushrooms and aus gus sauce. Wow! Meat always super tender and super tasty! Everyone I asked loved their food! The place is pretty small... But the staff is really friendly. Will definitely go back in the future.
