Great place to start your day in Salado. Breakfast are sandwich options, coffee options are a variety. Fresh baked goods are delivered daily early in the morning. (Cherry cheesecake!) Staff is friendly and welcoming.
I had the veggie breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely recommend. Drip coffee is strong and just ask barista to leave room at top for add ins.

This will be the first review I have done where I did not eat anything while I was there.

Atmosphere was pretty chill and quiet. The only employee I saw there did not mind that I was taking pictures of the place. However, my friends and I did not get to have any of the food that we saw on the menu because we decided to just go home and get some sleep.

I feel like the pictures speak for themselves, this place is a unique and gorgeous café . There should be a part two of the food review.

This is such a cute little cafe! Great little atmosphere, the club sandwich is huge! The M.B.P. (mozzarella, bacon, pesto) was awesome! They have great food, good coffee, delicious baked goods (get the peanut butter cookies), and even smoothies. Definitely want to come back!

We were so excited to find this place in Salado! We had coffee and lunch here, and the menu was a pleasant change from diner and bar food - more like what you'd find at a bistro in Paris! We had various toasts (what might be called tartines in Paris - open-faced sandwiches) with delightful toppings (think: apple brie and honey, or cream cheese tomato onion and cucumber, or avocado egg and balsamico), a delicious soup, and a very nice grilled cheese. We will be back for sure!

A cute little coffee shop that's tucked away in Salado. It's centered in the middle of plenty shoppes, so there's a lot to see while enjoying some coffee.

There's a decent amount of seating both indoors and outdoors. Customer service is always good, no complaints here. I didn't get any pictures of the inside (there was a lot of people and I didn't want them feeling uncomfortable by me taking pictures).

They have plenty of options when it comes to food. You can get sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Last time, I ordered the turkey melt sandwich accompanied with some tomato soup. For my coffee, I've been getting the iced pumpkin pancake latte, which is absolutely delicious. I hope they keep that on the menu long-term.

I always make it a habit to grab some coffee here every time I visit Salado! Definitely a must try.

We had a great experience dining here. It is a lovely little bistro with cute, cozy decor, serving fresh and delicious salads and sandwiches! I absolutely loved their veggie sandwich and potato salad, I ordered it twice because it was so good! Highly recommend this place!

Salado as a whole is an amazing little town. This coffee shop is talk to just behind some of the shops off the main road. Great coffee! Good people. Great environment!

Went there for a quick lunch. The cashier didn’t know anything about the menu (such as if the mango tea was already sweetened). Ordered a soup and salad combo. The salad had the wrong lettuce (iceberg instead of romaine) and the chicken salad didn’t have pecans or cranberries like the menu stated. The soup was from a can. The pickle that came with a sandwich looked like it had a bite taken out of it. And the ice tea had no flavor - how is that even possible in Texas???Unfortunately the staff didn’t know what to do or how to handle the situation.

Overall it’s one to avoid and apparently the locals avoid as well.

Five stars for the food and the cashier’s friendliness. 0 stars for the owners of this establishment who think it’s okay to close the restaurant whenever they feel like it with zero regard for their loyal customers. We have driven over 30 minutes to this place on two occasions and Google and Facebook showed they were open. We arrived to find a “Closed” sign. One time we showed up to order and the cashier actually admitted that the owners had decided to travel out of state for vacation without placing any orders for supplies/food! What the hell? If you decide to go here, just please be prepared. At least the fudge shop across the street is incredible and reliable! :)

This coffee shop is amazing! The decor and atmosphere is very welcoming. Greeted as soon as you walk in. The coffee is great and the food is absolutely delicious! A definite must while in Salado. Coming from Killeen, it was definitely worth the trip. Thank you Lively Coffee House & Bistro.
