Cpl Ray's Coffee - Odessa

Awesome smoothies and iced tea! I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but I hear lovely things about theirs. The shop itself is wonderful, fast and free wifi and a chill atmosphere. However, the service is less than stellar, to say the least. Almost every time I'm there, the girls are just on their phones and quite rude. Last time I was in, a blonde girl with glasses was actually sitting in the drive-through window itself with her butt hanging out, as she listened to something on her earphones and didn't even see me as I stood at the counter for a while. I would be upset to pull up and see a teenager's rear end hanging out of a window from which I was attempting to order. The staff was not friendly, engaging, or kind... but everyone has bad days. I will be back, and would love to update this review to reflect what I see in the potential of this awesome coffee shop!

They’re pretty hit or miss. Sometimes they’re phenomenal and sometimes they’re subpar. It seems like their morning staff are better trained and have a better attitude than if you go late in the day.

I often meet clients at this place. I love it, everyone who's been there with me loves it! I live waaaaaayyy on the other side of town and literally pass two starsucks on my 30min drive to get there. And my kids love their smoothies. The best

I've been going to CPL Rays for the past 5 years and I love it!! You can never go wrong with getting a frozen Ray rays mocha and a banana nut muffin. It's definitely worth it after a long day or even just a special treat for yourself.

Love supporting military businesses! This coffee shop definitely gets it done right! Flavors to match whatever mood you're in. Definitely worth visiting!

So glad we found this place, gladly switching from the big chains to going here regularly now. An amazing cause and story and we are happy to support it...everyone is so nice and the coffee is amazing. Great prices too!

Eden and Bethanie were amazing! Excellent service, good recommendations and provided such a welcoming environment. Loved the drinks and good internet service (bathrooms were very clean).

Met husband and I stopped here and tried the Apple Pie Iced Chai. It was very delicious and the service was wonderful.

Nice setup for those who need to get some work done and enjoy a cup of coffee. Plenty of space/outlets to suit your needs. Busy place where you can meet friends. Staff was friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. My only complaint is the loud country music they were playing. Didn't really suit the relaxed coffee vibe I was hoping for.
