Cpl Ray's Coffee - Odessa

"Updated" Waited in line for 15 minutes this morning and not one car moved, 2 cars behind me backed out and left, after that I did as well. I don't know if you're understaffed or what, but this happens 9/10 times, so I decided to leave a review. It was the Faudree location, they're always nice, not trying to get anyone in trouble, it's just the wait times in the drive through are crazy long.

Always have gotten my order correct but service has been bad during every experience. I always go through the drive-thru as I usually come before work and the barista always seems to have an attitude. During my first visit, I misunderstood her and she responded with “Yeah I know you said that” and during my second experience she said “Next time call this order in since you’re backing up the drive-thru” but there was only one person in front of me and no one was behind me. I also asked to speak to a manager and had the window slammed in front of me. Great drinks and breakfast but bad service.

Awesome Service and clean and relaxing atmosphere. Their is no other coffee shop that can hold a candle to this one.

I really liked the coffee. I studied here for my tests, and they let me stay there for hours. The environment is nice and quiet with perfect lighting for long sessions. The price isn’t too bad compared to large chains like Starbucks. Would be great if the selection was larger. The employees were great and nice and let me do my own things.

It's cheaper than Starbucks because it's a little worse than Starbucks. Better service than Starbucks though. Very mediocre.

Awesome coffee shop which in my opinion has the best tasting coffee around and I mainly like to go and get a frozen coffee.

Went there with my partner and felt uncomfortable immediately. A couple, sitting outside having coffee, stared with a hostile scowl as they spoke openly about us being "weird," loud enough to hear. We walked in ordered our coffee and sat down. Overheard the barrista talking to the other barrista about how my partner's outfit was "offensive." He was wearing a long sleeve exercise shirt with exercise leggings- the only thing different about it was that the leggings were colorful and floral, his shirt baby blue. His hair is "unconventionally" shaved on all sides with the top long. Despite being polite, tipping well and minding our own business, these people didn't want us around, that much felt obvious.

Funny enough, my partner is a combat vet. He served in Iraq for 8 months. He definitely didn't get a "support the troops" vibe. 👎👎
