This place was such a wonderful surprise. After 10 years of living in the Dallas are, it was my first time going to North Richland Hills and I adored this shop. A very casual, relaxed atmosphere with chairs, couches and even logs around for sitting. I tried their coco-bana coffee and it was delicious. Liked the place, and atmosphere very much.
Highly recommended!

I was on my way out of work one day, debating if I wanted to head home or give this one a try before I go. I came around once, and it was so good I had to come back around a second time.

When you first walk in, or at least for me, it's a bit overwhelming. There's dozens of people sitting down, but you begin to see why. It's a hotspot for people looking to work in peace in a dynamic but relaxing environment. With plenty of places to sit, free Wi-Fi, and of course: their highlight refreshments. I didn't have a clue what to order because their was so much to choose from, so I asked the workers behind the desk what they recommended. They were very friendly and affable! It was a Groundberry(?) they started mr off with, even telling me it's contents and some other side things. I of course opted for a small size to start and was delighted with the comfy flavor it had. I came back around for round two and even spent a moment in there that time to really soak in the ambiance as well! Definitely a hospitable spot for when you want to get something done like some papers or even just want to mellow out with the crowd. You could even call it a rather "kindred" feeling to be there.

Wow! I never (and I mean NEVER) write reviews, but this place deserves 10 stars! My husband and I were on a weekend getaway in Fort Worth and wanted to check out a local coffee shop, but it was the Fourth of July weekend and lots of places were closed. I’m grateful that they were, because I may not have found this gem! The iced white mocha latte and vegan blueberry muffin is a combination so perfect it’s award worthy. Cute and clean location with fast and friendly service. Will be returning when we are back in the area!

Always a fun place for nice coffee break or meeting.

Their cheesecake tart options are fantastic. I like the seasonal change-ups they have. Love their lavender vanilla latte. The Key West chicken wrap is to die for! The environment is very comfortable and welcoming. Nice staff. I often go out of my way to go here for all of the above, as they are quite a distance from where I live. Worth it. Only thing I wish they would offer is a military discount. That is not a deciding factor, but it is a 100% guarantee that military/retired military appreciate and frequent those businesses that show their appreciation.

We have been patrons of kindred coffee since they opened. Sam the owner is the best and the atmosphere is wonderful. Convenient location to meet with friends and family. We do wish they would bring their salad bar back as it was something we enjoyed frequently. They still have salads and wraps and awesome baked goods on their menu and my whole family thinks it’s the best coffee that there is. Love that they were able to expand their dining room. Again we just love the atmosphere. Feels like a second home for us.

I'll admit it's been a while since I've been to Kindred, since I've moved to Fort Worth and it's a bit out of my way these days-- but the coffee and atmosphere are *great*. Great place to grab a cuppa with friends, work on the next great American novel or whatever your creative aspirations are, and did I mention the coffee is really, really good?

You may see a couple of photos I took in June of 2018 and just now submitted to Google's photos of the place-- they put *glitter* in it! That's right! Drinkable glitter! I've developed a lot of serious dietary restrictions since I started going there (plus the move), but I can almost guarantee wouldn't feel as sad about not being able to have chocolate if I had a cup of their cream-laden coffee in lots of "not mocha" options.

Show up for the coffee. Stay and keep coming back for the amazing atmosphere and endless possibilities Kindred's team brews back behind the counter. The coffee lives up to the expectations you'd have of the space-- light, airy, inviting, easy on the eyes, and definitely worth revisiting.

There's not many reasons I'd willingly go back over to NRH side of things, but trust me when I say this is one of the few on the list I'd consider. Try it out, you won't be disappointed that you did.

Nice place to sit and have a coffe, some cake, or even a smoothie(plus more)... You can get work done on a laptop or sit with some friends at tables and play cards. Inside and outside sitting is available and the chocolate cake was super rich and so delicious. Definitely a place to go back to.

My experience

-There were plenty of outlets
-A nice place to study but the tables were very cramped together
-The coffee was good but take into account that I waited about 10 minutes for my beverage.
-The carpet was filthy with stains
-The tables weren’t clean at all
-The chairs were unstable and wobbly (I actually saw someone switch out their chair three times).
-I never saw anyone wearing gloves while dealing with the pastries
-There was a blonde lady behind the counter who was really rude while taking my order
-I found several bugs around my table
-No covid-19 precautions what so ever.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience
