Local Habit

Trendy without going snooty, it’s a refreshing hangout in a not so busy locale. The service is attentive and friendly. The coffee is a bold roast, full of flavor without being bitter. Not a lot of food/snack options and the coffee is about the same price as Star$$. They are open only during the day and shuts early on Saturday, so it limits the amount of time you can visit. Otherwise if it weren’t for these factors, I might rate 5 stars

Enjoyed a rich environment of coffee love and the at home feeling right when I walked in. All of the staff were very appreciated and was there for any questions or needs. Very impressed with the seating arrangements because I came there to work from my computer to do editing and write. Definitely will not be the last of my visits.

Awesome first impression. I bought the Frençh Press at modest price, and was complemented with a 16oz to accommodate the milk and espresso for under $8. It was a great cup and very smooth. The taste was fresh and satisfying. I was able to enjoy a good conversation with a local regular by the name of Bob, and enjoy a short lightening storm on the porch. Thank you again Local Habit!

The atmosphere is great! The coffee does taste a bit strange compared to other offerings around town but isn't that big of a deal. Otherwise a great place to socialize with friends

I like specialty coffee drinks and get them most mornings for my crew to start our day. I am excited Local Habit has opened so close to home. We tried the iced mocha, lavender lemonade, blueberry muffin, and pumpkin bread. Excellent! Also liked the atmosphere indoors and out!

Local Habit is a great place for real coffee (espresso drinks like the Cortado) or sissified sugary drinks (frozen machiatto or whatever my interlocutor was drinking). The old house has been meticulously renovated into multiple great spaces - indoor and out - to enjoy coffee with friends.
Easy access from I-30 and you won't be sitting with half your car hanging out on Richmond while waiting in line at ****bucks.

The ambiance is fantastic, my fiancé said it’s pretty niche like here’s a pretty nook for you to write a screen play, I loved it.

It’s pretty accessible as well, there are ramps to get in, but the front door isn’t super wide, the side door is wider though, the doorways inside the building are wide as well. The front door could be wider is really the only criticism I have.

Everyone is super sweet, the drinks are amazing, it’s very cozy. Will be back

My favorite place to grab coffee or get some work done in town! Amazing chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bread, they also recently added breakfast tacos that are delish! Only complaint is that I wish they would make it an option to buy a large chai tea latte. Their chai tea is so delicious I wish I was able to buy larger than a small!
