I am surprised how I missed this little piece of gem. We drive by the same road every day.
Service
Awesome. Smiling friendly people behind the counter. Ready to accommodate all requests.
Food. Made fresh from scratch, and I can vouch for it personally given my allergies. Every time I have been there I have come out with a smiling face and a happy tummy.
I thank the owners for their hard work and congratulations for having such an awesome decadence of a boutique restaurant.
Good luck and wish you all the best. I would recommend your place to all my friends and anyone reading this , please give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Best service, coffee, and Mediterranean food you can find near McKinney. The owner is a perfectionist! My friend and I tried the zaatar (thyme) and cheese pies and they were so good! Next time we’ll try the fig pizza. The portion is generous so you can share a pie with someone. The place is spacious and has lots of sunlight - ideal for studying and getting work done. There are many drink options. Plus, their music is not loud at all! Definitely recommend.

I am so happy to have found Yaba Java in McKinney! My lunch order included the chicken rolls with garlic sauce and cucumber salad. They made everything fresh at the time of my order and with clean ingredients. I also love that they have a variety of flavored teas to choose from. The ginger peach flavor was super refreshing. They really put a lot of thought and passion into the quality of their menu. Will definitely visit again soon!

Four words describes my experience at Yaba Java Cafe.....Yummy To My Tummy:) I thought Yaba was a coffee shop, however boy was I wrong. It's a cozy Cafe that is simply amazing. I ordered the Avocado and Egg Toast. It was good. It would have been a tad better if the toast was a little thicker. I also ordered the Peaches and Cream Waffles...Those were so delicious. The Waffles were golden brown and soft with a dash of powder sugar. The Peaches made it the perfect addition. It gave the dish perfect presentation and just the right touch of sweetness. I can't wait to try their Frittatas. Another guest ordered it, and it looked amazing as well.
On a final note, Toleen was my server and she was amazing as well. Yaba Java is a must if your in the McKinney area:)

What an incredibly cute cafe! I met up with a friend here today and enjoyed a got tea and chicken wrap. It’s a Middle Eastern sandwich with shredded chicken, wrapped in a crepe like wrap. It was very tasty and came with a cream savory dipping sauce.

I can tell this place is run very well and I will definitely be back to try their homemade pizzas!!! They have a custom built brick oven and make their own dough. Plenty of seating and very clean too!

I recently held a bridal Shower at this location and they were kind enough to reserve my preferred seating area for my guests. The staff was so kind and attentive even while they were extremely busy serving other customers. Everyone enjoyed the fresh menu items that were delicious not to mention the crafted cherry and vanilla Italian sodas.

Yes, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Yaba Java.

I've been to Jaba twice now and both times the food was consistently good. I was excited that they had the pies. I'm used to Arab pies but it was understood going in that this was a fusion and the flavor profile would be different. One of the meat pies tasted like sloppy joe sauce on a pizza but I love sloppy joes so it worked. The second time I visited I had one of the Frittatas. It was also very good. My son enjoyed his food too. The service the first time was average at the counter and delivered pretty quick but the second time was a disappointment. My mom and I ordered the Frittatas and my son a sandwich. We paid and sat down to wait. The girl at the counter brought our coffees and my son's food and explained that our frittatas take longer to make. We were in a bit of a hurry but we had enough time to wait. About 20 minutes later, she brought mine and said to my mom, let me go check on yours. She then came back and proceeded to tell us that my mom didn't order one and that she didn't pay so if she wanted one she'd have to come up and pay. I was standing right next to her when she ordered and heard her. If the girl didn't know she ordered one, then why did she tell mention my mom's Frittata being a little longer both times she brought the other food. Now I don't have an issue with someone making a mistake and certainly was not looking for a free meal, I do have issues with not taking responsibility. What happened was while we were ordering a friend of hers came in and then a young man with a dog came in that apparently was a customer, she was talking over us to talk to her friend and then to him, and wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. She failed to ring in our order in a rush to go sit on the floor with the dog only getting up to grab our food. She wasn't paying attention, messed up and then blamed us. As I said we had to be somewhere so instead of waiting another 30 minutes, I just gave my mom half of mine. She was disappointed because she had different one ordered but the Frittatas are a good size so we left full and had a great day. Normally I would dock a review more based on this service but I blended it with the first time and the food was good enough to give them another chance. I just hope the next time they pay attention to their current customer or take responsibility when they screw up.

Went for pasta, and had amazing chicken and mushroom Alfredo. This is not fast food. This chicken breast was not precooked. It was thoroughly cooked but moist and delishiously seasoned. The sauce was not the Alfredo sauce that looks like paint that I’m used to seeing. It was olive oil based and silky smooth. So good. I’m so glad I got out of my rut and tried a new place today.

The coziest spot to delve in yummy Mediterranean-esque flavors. I've been here multiple times now with my gal friends. The atmosphere, food gives you the perfect setting to catch up, sip some good cofee and talk your heart out. The food is flavorful and service is great.
My 2 cents.. if you order the fig and feta pizza ask them to be light handed with the fig. You'll thank me later. 😊

Yaba Java had nice decor and ambiance. Liked how clean and bright it was.

Our ordered was put in at 1:23pm today. After 15 mins wait, two iced coffee arrived. Another few minutes, chocolate croissant was served. Why it took so long to bring us the croissant that was sitting in display? We had no clue. Especially when it's not crowded, only 3 tables of customers including us.

It took 27 mins for my burger to arrive. And, it was a wrong burger. They had two burgers on menu. I ordered Yaba Java Burger yet Um' s Burger was served. Sent it back, got the correct one after 10mins. It's well done but not medium as requested.

Owner was very kind. She was concerned and apologetic. We appreciated her clarifications on each and every issue.

During our wait, we received a complimentary plate. Husband liked its taste, I was upset at that point and did not try.

We're all about supporting local owned business. After today's experience, it's uncertain if we would revisit.

P.s. There's a $1 fee when paying with credit card. Uncommon from my dining experience. Would've been fair if asked first, customers therefore could have options to pay cash. Minor thing but needed to be addressed
