This place is pretty small but I love it, they've got amazing coffee and delicious desserts. If you're a fan of single origin then you can't skip this place!

Semilla is a great coffee spot. Very hidden but creates this great quality coffee and the atmosphere makes you wanna stop and stay a while. I had the Moscow mule coffee and have been back twice for more. They make great recommendations and the staff and friendly and fun.

The staff was friendly and helpful since I’m new to trying different types of coffee drinks. The coffee was worth the wait and even then the wait was not that long. I will be coming back soon!

Coffee tasted water down got a latte nothing special I could hardly taste the espresso. I had been excited to visit since I always saw it had great reviews but was greatly disappointed!

I like the idea of having a coffee place like this in McAllen. However it only works if you feel good about going to a place like this. Semilla was recommended to me so I stopped by one day. Late morning. Only one customer in there besides me and two employees. I'm not a novice when it comes to this beverage and I also worked at a legitimate and beloved coffee joint in my early twenties. So when I was able to overlook how pretentious the employees were I was finally able to order. I asked for a crafted espresso drink so I could experience the crema and I was handed the most basic of drip coffee. Truly disappointing. Not only was it the most expensive drip coffee I've ever had, it was also one of the worse. I emailed the management as it was suggested on their Facebook page and I didn't get a single response. Not an email or message in response from them. I can't imagine this place will make it to it's 5th year.

One of the best places to get your coffee/tea fix! The chai is also super good as well. I’m from San Antonio and always make sure to stop by when I’m in town. Great customer service too & friendly/chill vibe!

Amazing coffee! I had coffee flights with my husband which took me by surprise. Another day, I had a cup of Jibrartar is the charcoal latte. Really good! This is the place to be with a friend, a date, or by yourself. The best coffee in the valley!!! Reminds me the best coffee I had in San Francisco or Chicago.
