Glad my friend and I stumbled across this coffee shop! We have tried almost every coffee shop from Palmview to Brownsville and by far this is the best one. Very welcoming staff, especially the owners! I highly recommend their Lavender Haze but anything you order on their menu will have you amazed. If you’re from the RGV and love coffee you HAVE to stop here. Most coffee shops i’ve tried are not consistent and have their bad or good days, at black honey it’s AMAZING EVERY TIME. Trust me you will develop an addiction and come back like I do 😶

This place is phenomenal and you can absolutely tell they sincerely see coffee roasting/pastry making as an art. Their employees are very kind, as well as very knowledgeable in helping you find the taste you’re looking for. It’s always exciting to see what they will try or create next. If you like to test out coffee shop locations, be sure to swing by their space in downtown McAllen for a chill atmosphere. Lastly, their cookies are insanely good, so don’t skip on them 🍪☕️ 🤤

When it comes to coffee shops in the RGV, we need to #SipLocal. Today I decided to visit Black Honey for coffee. It did not disappoint — my Americano was good and the chonky cookie was 🤌🏽. Perfect pair.

Best coffee in McAllen. Roasted on site by experienced and passionate owner. Variety of beans and methods to choose from. Amazing cold brew and pour over on my 2 visits. Growlers and cans to go. Must visit for the true coffee fan!!

Never disappoints. Now that they're on Door Dash, I order in the AM for work! Our team loves the CHUNKY homemade cookies!

Spent three weeks looking for the best coffee in the area. Black Honey was bar far the winner! Pretty sure that the gentleman who made our drinks and cookies is somehow magical. Everything was beyond delicious!!!!!!!

Black Honey…the Hidden Gem of McAllen! Serg & Seems are knowledgeable about beans, and craft coffee🙌🏼 Their drinks are nothing short of magic. My favorite so far is the Lavender Oat Latte, and the cold brew! We always make sure to have a bag of their beans at home in case we can’t make it out to their shop for the day🖤 They are all about bringing the love of coffee with craft to the community. Also their golden yellow Tie dye shirt is so soft!! Oh and Our kiddos love their chonky Cookies!

This coffee shop is amazing! Their coffee and pastries are delicious. The two people working the front were so nice and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

Friendly service, welcoming environment and a great selection. I highly recommend trying a Classico latte with Oat milk paired with any of their baked goods!
