Couldn't find the place at first, until we made a second turn around the area. It's next to Pizza Hut. Bought the mocha cookies and cream and a coco loco for my friend. Very good coffee not too sweet and very balanced. Will come again. We spent $15 after a $2 tip ๐๐
Super great service and happy to find a place to get local drive thru coffee! Definitely go here if youโre nearby. They have awesome house specials and are so delicious.
Exactly what I was looking for on my long drive! Local and delicious. The syrups are a little bit on the sweet side, just a note for anyone in the future
Service with a smile AND good coffee. What more can we ask for? Please give them a try!
I don't live near here, unfortunately. However, I was on a road trip and was REALLY wanting a coffee. (I have recently cut out all processed foods and sugars from my diet and for the past 2 weeks have been brewing my own coffee at home.) So this was my first experience trying to find a black coffee (with a splash of half and half that I could drink!) So I searched Google maps for coffee shops along my route and this popped up, so that's how I arrived there, with no knowledge of anything else about it.
In my short drive there, I had conjured up a vision of a small building, where when you walk in you get an amazing aroma of various coffees. So I was slightly disappointed when I arrived and it was strictly a drive through business, but my disappointment faded just as quickly as it came when I was greeted by a smiling face. I was hoping for something like a Pecan brew, or Hazelnut brew, but I was advised they have only one brew. So, I ordered a medium black coffee with a splash of half and half. I paid and drove to the second window and my coffee was ready really quickly. She started to hand it to me and then I remembered that I'm driving and it might be too hot, so I asked if she could add a couple of ice cubes. She happily obliged and then reappeared at the window with my coffee and a smile. (I had stopped about 10 minutes before that and gotten gas and an Exxon coffee, which was terribly bitter and awful, and I kindly asked if she could dispose of it for me and she happily obliged.)
As I pulled away I took a careful sip and the temperature was perfect and it was so smooth!! I was really impressed with this amazing cup of coffee!! If there was one near me, I'd definitely be going there often!
Please stop by and give them a chance. (I only got the black coffee and it was so good, so I can only imagine how good it would be with the added flavors they had available.)
It's hard to find good service these days, so I'm taking the time to write this long review and say THANK YOU! (I wish I would have gotten the employee's name to compliment her personally. I went by mid-day, 1/14/23.)
About time a coffee shop came to the Area!! Sooo recommended. Good coffee fair price. Knowledgeable if you don't know what you want just tell them what you like! Patient kind
Tried this coffee shop for the first time, and I love it. It reminds me of one of the little coffee shops I used to go to back in New England definitely think I found a place.
Rise and grind is the best coffee around! The staff is so sweet and very personable! The coffee is always made like I like it and I fully appreciate this business in Mathis! Definitely recommended the Coco Loko!

Literally the only place in Mathis to get coffee, but it's still pretty good.
