Stylish coffee house with delicious food. By the time we visited they were out of much of the items, but the coffee and the scones were delicious. Due to covid only ten people could be in the building at once, but they have some small tables outside to enjoy the high desert sun. A nice place to grab some coffee and a tasty treat.

Delicious breakfast tacos and their delicious Chile sauce. Loved it

It is very possible that this is not a typical experience, but I have never had worse breakfast tacos in my life than I did at the Sentinel. Originally came on a Monday while driving out to Big Bend, we were really just passing through and starved. The Sentinel was open when nothing else in Marfa was and the reviews were good, the atmosphere looked cute and the menu looked delicious.
We walked up and when we got the attention of the people behind the counter and mentioned that we were hoping to eat, they said they only had two options (both tacos): vegetarian and chorizo. Could have been a flag, but we ignored it and were hungry. We ordered 4 tacos for two people and we're warned that "they're 6in so they're pretty big" ... should've taken the hint. We got 4 anyway and ended up paying $25 (!!!!!) which is absolutely absurd no matter how good they are - literally egg and potato. At least it went to a good cause.
The server walked into the back and came back 60 seconds later with our tacos in a paper bag. Huge red flag and I cringed knowing that we were really in for it now (at least PRETEND there's some assembly involved). Let me cut to the chase here. They were potato and egg tacos. The scrambled egg was grey and smelled like the yolk of an over cooked hard boiled egg. They were warm, but the egg was incredibly dried out from sitting underneath whatever heat lamp had been their home for the last week. The potatoes were nearly crunchy and the egg actually WAS crunchy when I ate a piece of shell that got mixed up in it. The tortilla was just a soggy mess. I cannot express to you how badly I wish I could un-live this experience. Please save yourself the time and money and buy one of their candles to chew on or something.

I really liked this cafe’s outdoor space and general aesthetic. There is a we curated boutique in the main room, and lots of outdoor seating.
Room for improvement, there were not many gluten-free options on the breakfast menu.

The place is nicely decorated, really cool!
Food is expensive for what you get, tiny portions.
Drinks are good, coffee was delicious and there are some craft beer options.

The aesthetic is spectacular, loved our drinks. Didn’t order food, so I can’t speak on that. But, definitely worth a stop!

Love this place! The owner was super kind and conversational. He let us take photos (as we were in town to take engagement photos) and the guac was some of the best I've ever had. Margaritas were great too!! Gorgeous space and they make you feel like locals.

I agree with previous reviews that this place is Aloof. Unnecessarily so. The coffee/lattes are average- actually a bit bitter.
I can attend this kind of experience any time in Beverly Hills.
it’s simply better at Do your Thing coffee, which has reasonable pricing, a much more friendly staff, and I found their food better and quicker service.

The store is super cool and the ambience is refreshing. Didn’t order food but the cocktails were delicious though a little bit expensive if you’re looking for a cheaper option. Staff was super friendly and even gave recommendations on the best local spots. Overall great experience!
