Honest review
Really great atmosphere, cashier made the ordering process awkward getting annoyed because she couldn’t keep up with my pace and for the way I was requesting my coffee. Then the same girl proceeded to hand me coffee with it all dripping down the side of the cup, only to have the lid pop off while I was in the car, creating a mess and burning me.

Great place just one complaint, you guys should definitely make more almond croissants. First of all it’s only available on Saturdays and whenever I come it’s gone. This is the third weekend in a row when you guys were out of almond croissant. Please make more of it or have it available on other days as well.

You can have the best coffee in town. They really care about customer satisfaction. They gave us a bit cold croissant but we were just okay with it. Shortly after we got our croissant, a lady brought us a box with different types of pastries and apologized for the cold croissant. They didn't have to but we appreciated the fact that they are trying to improve customer satisfaction. By the way, their coffee is really really good !!!!!!

This is a DELICIOUS place! The croissants, especially the plain and almond, are to die for, wow! The Toastie is one of the best sandwiches. Everything tastes so fresh! The ambiance is so fun; a place you want to grab a bite, coffee, or mimosa with a friend. This is a Lubbock treasure!

I have a thing for patisseries, I have to go to the best French bakery in the city whenever I travel. This place is super cute and local, nice and calm atmosphere. It is also close to my fitness studio and others close by. I plan to come here at least twice a week.
The avocado toast and sandwiches are fantastic. The pastries are a hit too.
Interesting that it is part of the betenbough co, love what they're doing.

Very nice new coffee / bakery concept in the former Watering Well space

New clean feeling. Not crowded at 2 pm but EXTREMELY NOISY because of the acosticts.A pretty setting.
Coffee is bitter. I never use sugar and had to here. Also used all the cream in the little container they serve with the coffee.
My husband had a pastry and we both said never again. I do have a favorite place in town and will contiue to go there.
Good try but not for me.

If I could give 2.5 stars I would. I didn't have an outright bad experience but I will not ever go back. I was originally excited when I found out that this place was open, because Lubbock has a serious dearth of bakeries, and individually-owned/non-chain restaurants in general. Except then I found out that Ninety-Two is owned by Betenbough Homes, a huge suburban home builder--so much for small business. I decided to keep an open mind though, and try it out. Unfortunately the food was beyond disappointing. I don't think I've ever seen worse looking pastries. Compared to this place, Market Street or HEB's pastries look like they came straight from Paris. Given how bad the pastries looked (for example, the almond croissants had an exorbitant amount of icing on them, which...what? icing does not belong on croissants) I decided to just get sourdough toast. I don't know how toast can be disappointing, but it was. It was barely toasted and the bread was super dense. The hot pepper jam was okay, but not at all "hot". My husband was brave and got a chocolate "croissant" but given the complete lack of lamination, calling it a croissant was a stretch. I also got a cold brew, which was fine, which is why I'm not giving only two stars.
