J&B Coffee

Good coffee, but not necessarily an enjoyable place to spend time. There is not enough sound dampening, so it can get very loud. Additionally, there are very few comfortable places to sit. I prefer coffee shops that have an intimate, warm environment. J&B does not have that environment, so it's not for me.

Excellent place to study. Bring your laptop and enjoy high speed wifi. I believe they have a quiet area in the back but I like to drink my coffee and read my notes in the main lobby while listening to the soft music play.

This place is really amazing. We are from out of town and great reviews lead us here. They were incredibly busy but moved through the line like pros. Very flavorful well brewed coffee. Highly recommend!

My go-to spot! Friendly baristas, nice environment, and lots of tables to find your own personal space (if you’re an introvert like me). Their drip coffees are always wonderful and at a great price. Lots of regulars as well. I love this place!

Excellent experience. The space is large and well lit. The mixed woods and industrial light features make it feel intimate. The coffee selection is large with a specialty drink menu , like the Caramel Cowboy or other Texas Tech themed beverages. They also have a food menu. They have breakfast bagels, sandwiches, and baked goods. Service is fast and the baristas are knowledgeable. Will definitely be back soon! Another plus: they are open on Sunday morning!!

The coffee is outstanding, the staff is always on point and friendly. Great joint to hang out, read, or get some office work done away from the mundane office setting. ;)

Do not come to this place if you are in a hurry at any time of the day. Painfully slow (I have waited over 20 minutes the last three times I've been here, with three or more baristas doing almost nothing to speed things along), and the coffee is worse than several other options in town.

Every time I went there, tried a new coffee! Yesterday I tried the latte with Toasted marshmallow flavor & they just made it so perfect as I wanted! Another thing I love that place about is the interior & exterior decoration! A lovely place overall❤️

Excellent! I stop in everytime I go thru Lubbock, usually about once a year, in fact I plan my trips so that I stay close enough to stop by. Fantastic brewed coffee, in a variety of roasts and origins. Excellent espresso drinks, both hot and cold. I also really like the decor and general feel of the shop. I great place to study, chill out with friends, enjoy a book. Basically everything I look for in a good coffee shop. I just wish it was in my hometown.
