Nice little spot to have breakfast and coffee. Lovely lady with her son were behind the counter (family owned obviously) and she’s very helpful. Food came out fresh and tasty and loved the coffee. I think this place deserves more customers. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to coffee and breakfast lovers!

The coffee here is the real star and the fast friendly service. I got a cuban sandwich for lunch once. I found it be be very dry but maybe that's just the way they are? I wouldn't buy that again. However the "mini breakfast " which is $5 for meat for your choice (I get ham) egg and cheese on a panini with home fries in onions and garlic is great! So tasty.

Was at the end of my birthday weekend in Crystal Beach and we stayed a couple nights in La Porte. The wife found this place online. We love visiting small, family run businesses so we gave breakfast a shot. This joint is a joint, but in a good way. The owners are so nice and accommodating. I asked for a Ropa Vieja, 3 egg omelet (not on the menu) and they made it.
The Cuban Breakfast sandwich is delicious and the bread they use taste as if was flown in from Cuba. The potatoes are crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle (like they all should be) and the empanadas...hands down the best ones so far!
And of course the coffee. They have a small coffee menu but so far, everything we've had is great. The Cafe con Leche and the Mocha (dark chocolate, always!) are smooth and delicious! So good that we came here the second day on our way home. We'll be back!

The Cuban Cafe La Porte is such a cozy place to dine in at. My husband and I went by just the other day for brunch and left fully satisfied. We both tried ice coffees Michelle recommended and they were delightful! we had an Italian sandwich and the Authentic Cuban. We both split the French toast bites and it was sooooo good! I still crave it through out my week lol . I definitely recommend spending time here and then enjoy the day at sylvan beach just steps away. A perfect date we had there! Thank you for your hospitality Michelle and Tyler!

First time here.
Got French toast (which does not include cinnamon which maybe they should change the name to Vanilla toasted bread with powdered sugar).
I got the ham and cheese sandwhich is was good but basic.
I got the cafe con leche it was good size mug and cute! It was what i liked the most.

Says open Mondays- Saturday. We drove there only to find it closed at 10am. They should update their hours if they will be closing during the week. I was looking forward to having good strong coffee

Stopped by today. I had the picadillo empanadas and the pineapple & guava ones. Everything was delicious. Very nice owners. Will stop by again.

Everything was amazing and the portions were very large at a reasonable price. The cafe con leche was perfect. My husband had the Cuban breakfast sandwhich and loved it! My daughter had the three egg breakfast the homestyle potatoes were perfect. I asked for a cuban sandwhich with veggies which is not on the menu. The owners were so accomodating, they made it and it was fantastic. We will be back soon!!

Very friendly staff, stayed a few hours working on my laptop and they asked if we needed anything, let us stay as long as we wanted, very cozy atmosphere, very good food, great coffee

This was a happy accident for me! Was exploring the area on my OneWheel and saw the sign. I’m Puertorrican and as such love a proper Cuban coffee. The cafe con leche is spectacular. Also ordered the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich. Delicious. Couldn’t even finish it!! Will definitely be back again!
