Cowboy Omelette or Cowboy HashBrowns are “stuffed” with the same amazing yum-yum’s, like chunks of yellow & red bell peppers, pickled jalapeños (not too hot) grilled onions sausage, ham & more. (No cheese, please). Both came with toast or biscuits. The omelette was spectacular. No words from the direction of the hash browns, either, except, This over easy egg is perfect ! Coffee was surprisingly great ! Service was ok. The place was busy. Families. Travel back to a simpler time at Janice’s Dinner Bell Café. You’ll walk away soothed & satisfied. Oh, worth mentioning, smoke free environment ! We would have walked right back out if it hadn’t been. Wonderful experience.

Well-stocked salad bar. Great choices at the hot table - fried chicken, meatloaf, mac&cheese, collards and more on Sunday. Hot table .ay be available on other days. Large, delicious burgers. A great stop for a meal. Open 24/7. Breakfast served until 11 am.

Very great place to go! Stopped in today from out of town with my mom for lunch and it was good and freshly cooked and the staff was so nice and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. Very reasonably priced and they are also open 24 hrs a day! Definitely recommend this delicious home cooking food! Will be returning when we go back up that way again! :)

Misty was a great waitress! She had our food out in a timely manner after we heard the order up from the kitchen. We had chicken fried steak and a soft taco dinner, the taco meat could have been chopped up a little bit more but nothing you and your fork can't fix! The queso was good and the chips were hot and fresh!

My wife and I stopped here on our way through town. We each ordered the big bell breakfast. After one bite of the bacon we realized it was foul and well beyond its expiration date, we were going to tell our waitress but she never came back to our table after delivering our food, she was busy sitting down at 1 of the other 4 tables and chatting it up with what I'm guessing was her family or friends. When I went to pay I mentioned the bacon to the lady at the counter and I was told that "ya, we've been hearing that all day". Why not warn a customer next time or pull it off the menu. Wish I could give zero stars. Not once did our server even come near our table, when I tried to get her attention we were ignored. There was only a couple tables and was not busy at all.

Absolute trash! Waitress was extremely rude, took our order after 20min of waiting and then sat down with her friends. 20min later when the food arrived that was the last time we saw her. Food was old and nasty. There was only 3 other couples this was 2pm, worst place we have ever ate. Horrible service and food.

We prefer spicy food that is very flavorful so in my opinion the food was bland. I know this place just recently opened so I am giving them more stars than I usually would. I am going to give them another try.

11/25/19: Fast and friendly service. The food is affordable and cooked well. The biscuits were fresh and homemade. I ordered the Cowboy Omelet. It came with 2 biscuits, no other sides included in the order, but there is no need because the omelet is very filling. The eggs for both orders were cooked perfectly, not dry or runny. I highly recommend this restaurant. Note: This establishment offers catering for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Service was slow and not good, getting food out was horrible. Very small chicken fried steak missing my pecans batter that I paid xtra for. Potatoes were cold. Salad was empty. Overall experience was poor...

We were in Kirbyville this morning doing errands and the wifey was hungry for breakfast. So she got on Yelp to see what the options were for that area. Janice's Dinner Bell Cafe came up for a good breakfast, so we thought we would stop there before getting our other stuff done. We walked in and the waitress told us that we could sit anywhere we wanted so we grabbed a table. They weren't very crowded and she came right over to take our drink order and have us menus. Everything on the breakfast menu looked really good from a basic breakfast all the way over to omelette's of your choice. What caught my eye was the loaded Hash Browns! They came with everything!!! Gravy, jalapenos, cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, onions, Bell peppers, mushrooms, and the kitchen sink!!! It also comes with your choice of biscuits or toast! My wife ordered the Little Bell breakfast with two eggs, bacon, hash browns, gravy and one pancake. I ordered the Country Breakfast with three eggs, sausage, hash browns and gravy with toast. We also had ice tea for our drinks. The waitress was very helpful and outgoing. It wasn't long before our breakfast came out and we weren't disappointed! The hash browns and gravy were spot on and delicious!!! The eggs were fried just right and I had two good sized sausage patties and the toast was even great! It was already buttered, I loved it!!! My wife's was the same, but she said her pancake was one of the best she's ever got in a restaurant and she's a pancake conasuire!!! If you're in the area and wanting a great breakfast I would highly suggest giving the folks at Janice's Dinner Bell a try! Also they have a lunch buffet on Fridays that has catfish and shrimp!
