Wow, I normally treat myself at least once a week to a coffee. I found that I Really prefer the coffee at Black Rock over Starbucks, hands down! I decided to go through the drive thru last weekend, it wasn't as crowded as normal(no longer coffee rush time) I want to give a Big Shout Out to Hue he was Super friendly and attentive! I had ordered my coffee extra hot, just after another guy made my coffee and handed to Hue.. Hue took the coffee and stated "This Doesn't Feel Extra Hot To Me.. Remake This Order And Make It Extra Hot Please" It was just Perfect! This Is the First Time Anyone, like Hue had Ever Truly Cared About my coffee order at a Coffee place!! Black Rock Coffee on Gattis School Rd. Was Spot On when they hired such a Rock Star as Hue! Thank You For Caring about the Lost Art of..Top Quality Customer Service!! I Shall Return!!! ☕❤️

Finally a place that provides consistent, delicious coffee! The staff is always really friendly and the drive thru line is convenient and usually moves pretty quickly. They only have 1 drip roast available each day, (medium or dark) but I enjoy both and usually only drink dark roasts. I've also tried an iced mocha and prefer it less sweet and they made it perfectly! The pastries are a bit pricey but anything we've tried there has been really good, so we don't mind paying a little more for quality. Would highly recommend to everyone!

I’ve never had to wait 15 minutes for a coffee that was made wrong before. Anywhere… Ever.

I thought I was crazy. They put “my” drink out on the counter but it wasn’t what I ordered so I didn’t grab for it. (I worked at Starbucks for two years. Granted it’s not the same company but I’m not stupid.)

15 minutes later after the drink had been sitting there. They asked me what I was waiting for and I told them and they pointed at the 15 minute old coffee that I didn’t order.

So they remade my drink (recall the last paragraph where I told you I used to work at Starbucks). They basically poured the 15 minute old, caffeine espresso shots into a new glass with milk). Wth
My boyfriend and I then sat there for an extra 10 minutes until they asked us why we were still sitting there staring at them. My boyfriend waited a good 20 to 25 minutes for his...
And they made his wrong...

We had gone inside and ordered at the counter. We didn’t ask for a receipt because like we should’ve but didn’t. We trusted them.

Love the coffee, I go there to sit and catch up with my friend.. Comfy seats, easy to hold a conversation, good amount of parking. Not a whole lot on the menu, maybe that is the appeal for me. Coffee taste is origibsl and hits the spot. Problem I have experienced.. As a walk in I literally waited at the counter for 10 minutes before somebody took my order, there were 2 different patrons waiting.. The workers were too busy helping the drive thru.. The one guy who acknowledged we were there decided he had important things to do in the back while the other 5 employees helped the drive thru.. Really? Not ok. I hope it doesn't happen again when I meet up my friend to relax and catch up.

Not our favorite. My coffee was way too sweet; I had cold brew with sugar free coconut. My son thought his smoothie tasted like nothing at all. My husband enjoyed his coffee. Pastries were just okay.

I loved the strong coffee! Great smiles from staff. Have gone three times in fourteen days.

No macchiato or cortado? Barista "it's not an option on our machines" First time I've been to a coffee joint that solely relies on an automatic machine to determine their full menu list.

Cinnamon rolls and breakfast tacos are so good!! Definitely recommend. Drive through lane goes quick, staff friendly

Lovely little coffee shop the people are always nice and willing to converse with you and they push things out pretty quickly for how busy they get and the rewards system is great love this place in the morning
