Excellent coffee shop & lounge/venue. Definately one of my favorite coffee stops in Houston

Segundo Coffee Lab. Direct Quote from Kami , “It is giving vintage, haha, Spanish coffee shop.” You heard it here first folks, it’s definitely a vibe. The building is quite modern and adds to a warehouse feel that is very Texas-driven. The shops surprised me at first glance, as this building from the inside resembles a small shopping center. Including multiple thrift stores and a Delta 8 shoppe, the coffee counter is not your only endeavor when visiting The Ironworks. Now, let’s get to the coffee. Direct from Kami, “A bit too watery, not as strong as my liking.” This is a slightly disappointing stat because Kami loves Americanos, especially when they are strong and bold like her men. The chai, on the other hand, is stellar. Notes of chocolate, cinnamon and spice are prominent and appreciated in this tea. Not to mention, the barista slipped a little Delta 8 in my drink. Overall ratings: Kami- 3.5/5 stars, Grace- 4/5 stars

Overpriced coffee. Underwhelming taste. Uncomfortable seating. And if you try to be helpful and leave a cup at the counter you’re told to leave it in an unmarked bin by the wall next to the restrooms. What a treat. Better options elsewhere.

The ambience is one-of-a-kind. The coffee mug for Cortado was awesome. Great strong taste. The tacos were good too.

Unfortunately was disappointed by this place. I loved that there was so much seating for working. Comfortable and spacious. However, the coffee and food I ordered left something to be desired. Got a cappuccino with oat milk and unfortunately it had the taste of acidity that happens with plantbased milks sometimes where the milk separates/curdles. Multiple issues with my food order. Ordered toasts and the toppings were mixed up (also disnt love how white the bread was for the toast, though the everything seasoning on the avocado was delicious). Toppings i ordered for my overnight oats (which, by the way, was the best thing we ordered!! Yum) were incorrect. Also got a vegan tamale which was really good, but took 30 minutes to come out. It seemed like the person taking orders was incompletely trained maybe. Was glad i tried this place, and like what theyre trying to do, but I wouldn’t rush back at this point until the coffee is better & the communication/inefficiencies are worked out!

Everyone is always super friendly. I'm sensitive to caffeine and dairy and they haven't ever messed up my order. Good vibes. Nice place to relax or study and the pastries are great. The tarro latte is my favorite, it's not something I've seen anywhere else.

Excellent breakfast tacos and some of the best cold brew coffee in Houston

Fun, casual vibe for meeting with friends or getting work done, located in a refreshing/creative indoor plaza with clothing shops, art, real estate and more! I had a delicious hot chai tea latte with oat milk. The best part is the stores inside are made from large metal shipping containers!
