Not a place to go to for a relaxing dinner. We arrived around 8:30pm on a Saturday, the place was not overly crowded and service was usual paced. The whole time, there was a very loud and shrill Alanis Morissette CD playing. When we asked management if they could please change the music, they said they didn't have anything else. Total buzz kill and unfitting for the crowd there. Restaurant is very dark and has uncomfortable seating, so make your visits here quick.

Visited Brasil for breakfast with my wife. We had a great time. Evrything here is great from the decorations to the food everything is beautiful. Tge food was incredible and the coffee is just done right. My wife had a Mimosa and it was made with fresh juice like it is supposed to. Overall i enjoyed our time at brasil will have to return for lunch. But will definitely be returning.

Much more impressed with the service recently, the new staff have brought in improved attitudes and much better service. Lots of space for social distancing, menu is better than it was pre-pandemic too. It's not as good as it was five years ago, but it's much better than two years ago. Get the breve cortado and thank me later.

Great food that was a welcome twist! Husband got tamales while I got a rice bowl and both were delicious! Also have some more unique drinks I would have love to have tried.

Was there on a week night with a friend around 8 and it wasn’t really full, which was great. Ordered wine and pizza at the counter and then we sat at a table on the outside patio. Pizza was brought out to us and it was delicious. We had the two kinds: Tarragon Honey (picture attached) and Pepperoni. Wine delicious as well, Aquinas Pinot Noir. All in all, great food and great service. Love how low lit the restaurant is, at least at night, it gives off a cozy and romantic vibe.

Great new chef at Brasil. Yummy! I had the oyster mushroom tacos and the tres leches French toast. Mmm 😛 😋

Serene ambiance with the music selection and bamboo perimeter. Coffee was great. Mexican mocha and cinnamon latte. Latte definitely had a kick. Croissants were flaky and buttery. Tamale was not a tamale, but a taco. Tasty, just confused by naming choice.

A semi institution in Montrose. Two big patios (the patio in the back is one of my favorites in Houston), solid food, good drinks. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can't really go wrong.
