A neighbourhood gem! Great coffee, delicious pastry/sandwich/quiche menu options, reasonably priced, which explains why there is a never ending queue. Comfortable interior with arts along the wall. A great place to catch up with friends or to work alone (lots of both here).

Always a great coffee. And atmosphere

Awful experience. My food order was not correct and my coffee was not what I ordered. The atmosphere, staff and clientele were a negative vibe. I hope it is not always like this! The food and coffee were just okay, nothing spectacular.

Creative coffee and espresso drinks, craft service and a thoughtful menu presentation make for a solid coffee house. I like the location although parking can b challenging as w all shops on this street. Atmosphere is crisp and modern w plenty of seating just wish some of it was more comfy coffee house laid back style. The outdoor cafe seating makes for a great Heights experience. Will come back to try more offerings.

I didn’t like their house bean/espresso, Spindletop. They suggested their Single-Origin which is a rotating bean (as in you have to ask what their single-origin is as it always changes). I LOVE their avocado toast 🥺💕 but I’ve gotten quite a few varied experiences in portion sizes which is frustrating. The spot is cute, comfortable—a typical hipster coffee shop by nature. Lines can get long but you can order ahead online. Oh, and their kitchen closes at 3pm-jfyi. And, they have oatmilk! 😍😍😍

Coffee here is just not good. The drinks and the bag of freshly roasted beans are just not good at all. It is one of the only liberal coffee roasters in Texas but is nothing in comparison to Blue Bottle/Sight Glass/Four Barrels and others of such. The best one I have found in Texas is BlendIn in Sugar Land. Drove 30 minutes to try this one out and it simply was not impressive. Had the bag of beans this afternoon and it was like drinking a burnt marshmallow. Starbucks is even better, with better complexity. Throwing up a very liberal vibe does draw some people, but I guess not all know how to make a good cup of Joe. Anyway this is my opinion, love it or hate it its what you got in Texas. With all the positive reviews it makes me wonder if anyone has ever drank coffee before or perhaps ever left the state?

I use their beans at home for espresso. I’m very happy

Boomtown is one of my favs in Houston. Not only is the coffee great and always freshly roasted, it’s located on 19th street that’s ripe of awesome local shops. Pictured is my favorite latte, Milk and Honey (off their specialty menu). This location can feel cramped but it’s worth any potential wait.

One of the best veggie tacos in town. The corn tortillas are handmade and unique. This taco is made with seasonal ingredients. Right now it has amazing squash, black beans, avocado and more. Seasonal butternut salsa is to die for!!

Friendly staff, lots of seating options, house-made chai and iced coffee concentrate, and delicious, ethically sourced, drip coffee makes this one of my favorite places to get some work done. Their kitchen also puts a lot of intentional effort behind the tasty menu. Prices are average for a craft coffee shop, but flavor is always great. The only thing to note is that the WiFi isn’t always strong enough for video calls, but it works great for regular online work needs.
