I loved the coffee, the food and above all the atmosphere. This spot has it right! If you’re looking for somewhere eclectic and spacious this place is it. They also have live entertainment that I will be back to enjoy!
I ordered an iced mocha and my wife had the bees knees, which has vanilla, cinnamon and honey. Both coffee were good; above average even. The ambience is great. Comfortable, eclectic furniture sits over twenty, and they also share another space with firehouse gastro park that seats plenty more. They have their own spin on a jukebox. They have a record player with a bunch of record you can choose from.
This review is coffee shop specific. This place is fantastic! It's the only coffee shop that I have walked into that made me want to pick a comfy seat and leisurely drink my coffee!
It's the only coffee shop I have driven almost 30 minutes to get coffee and sit in a quiet corner! I have never deliberately stayed in a shop before!
Coffee is excellent and they work to get it right for your tastes. My son enjoys stronger coffee than I do, as well as different flavors - he really liked their coffee too!
The pastries they offer are decent. My only complaint is that when they offer to warm them up - they aren't really warm. Not sure what the issue is here. My chocolate croissant had unmelted bars of chocolate in it the last time. The chocolate was melted the first time, but the pastry felt room temp. The pop tart is good!
I love the decor, the vibe - it screams "sit here for a bit. Relax"! They have a record player and quite a few vinyl records, so I assume you could pick an album and listen!
It does seem to be popular for baby showers and group get together. If they are holding an event there, you can still buy coffee at their little window! You can also take your coffee outside to the picnic table area or into to the restaurant. Lots of great options!
The atmosphere they created inside is very cool, I only went for coffee at The Coffee Shoppe. But there are other things inside the same building. My drink wasn’t awfully expensive so that’s another plus. There was only one employee when I got there at 7am but he was very helpful and kind.
Cute, cozy, vintage, with a skillful craft. The only thing that could elevate the experience would be some funky beats on a record player and maybe a little lighter fruity coffee. But it was still rad and helen is doing everything by the books ☕
This place is in the old firehouse in Grand Prairie. Fun energy, various restaurant options in one building and a super cute coffee shop. Great service and they make a lot of their own offerings including yesterday's lavender honey addition for coffee.
They're a local, small business that has sustained so far through the crazy of the last few years. I'm all for them.
Plus, there's games outside.
Definitely go and support the local community and this restaurant with the quaint but vibey coffee shop inside.
Great atmosphere! Great coffee! The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly! The coffee shop is built into what used to be a fire station, really cool aesthetics, makes you feel like you’re in New York! Top of my list of favorite places to go to in Grand Prairie
I just moved here from Austin, so new to the place, thought I check ut out, but more than likely will not come back. I arrived at 8:54 am, walked to the door and it was locked. I thought they opened at 7am? I did not see any other door or message on the main door, so really confused. Welp over to the next coffee shop nearby.

Cute shop! Nice staff. A little harder to find because the street names on Google are wrong. You're looking for Brisket St, not Locker St.

The coffee was good. I like how it’s separate from the restaurant so it’s nice and quiet. I’m actually able to read my book in this coffee shop!
