Seawall Coffee Company

At 7:22AM on 12 Jan 22, my wife, myself and her service dog tried to support Seawell Coffee Company. We were met at the door by a staff member that waved through the window that no dogs were allowed inside. I then informed her that we have service dog. Her service dog detects seizure activity for my wife, who is permanently disabled for the state of Texas. She then told us that we could come in, but had to set in the two chairs next to the front door. In my opinion, this staff member did not want my service dog in this coffee shop. She was rude and very had an autocratic demeanor. We support all local businesses that support people with disabilities. I know a lot of military veterans that have service dogs and require their dog to be close to them at all times. So my question to the owner. If we are only allowed in the main entrance of the shop, how do we order our coffee at the counter and how do we go to bathroom if we are told to stay in a certain area?

Highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re visiting Galveston! Wonderful atmosphere and amazing coffee! The sweetest staff ever and they will give you great advice for first time visitors to the island!

Tourist trap! Save money by getting Starbucks! Overpriced. Misleading prices posted. No receipts. Ended up paying $10 for one coffee drink and 12 oz of plain steamed milk. We were told we were charged so much because of the syrup in the coffee?! Absurd. Not worth it.

We went to this coffee cafe and they were very friendly. They also have good food and the most amazing sweet treats and smoothies.

Good coffee, pastry and breakfast taco options, and a decent sized, easy to get in and out of parking lot.

Everything my daughter and I ordered was scrumptious. I had the lavender iced latte with oat milk. My daughter had the strawberry cake and mixed berry smoothie :)

Great friendly staff and the coffee and tea are amazing! They have the best gluten free desserts!
