Darlin’s Diner

My and my husband stopped by here on our way to Bandera. Very clean and tentative local diner. Food was top notch old school staples with a modern twist. Oatmeal was the best I ever had. Pancakes were very good and the omelette was wonderful. You really can’t go wrong with anything you get.

I was only in town for one night but I just had to hit this place twice. Excellent service, atmosphere, and food to match. When you walk in they make sure you feel welcomed from the bright lighting to the bright smiles. Even when short staffed they remained attentive. In terms of food I highly recommend the breakfast tacos and French toast. Those are the things I tried but honestly everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. Do yourself a favor and hit this spot; you won’t regret!

We were coming home from San Antonio and needed a place to stop for lunch. We googled nearby restaurants and Darlin’s Diner came up. I’m so glad we decided to stop. Flatonia is an adorable little town and Darlin’s Diner sits right in the middle of the town strip.

The restaurant is absolutely precious. Very vintage and trendy all at the same time. There are a few instagramable spots inside. The whole restaurant has a cozy and welcoming vibe. The service was great and the food even better. Please, ignore the finger indentations on my burger — I picked it up before I remembered to take a photo. The food prices are very reasonable. I also had a vanilla latte and it was 🤌🏼 chefs kiss!

So good!! Our favorite place to come eat when we’re in town. Super cute building, very friendly and the food is great! The waffle with whipped cream is a must try!!!

Great quite atmosphere, good coffee and a very tasty special for the day.

Grilled chicken wrap w/lettuce, tomato and a jalapeño ranch. (Opted no tomatoes add Avocado) and fries instead of chips.

I will definitely come back to try the breakfast, next time in town.

Food was delish!!! Staff was very nice!! Owner is sweet!! Restaurant is very cutesy, dainty, and a nice ambiance! Natasha, our server, we share same name, was very attentive and great service!! Visit this place fir sure! Coffee is tasty! They have mimosas and espresso too! Congrats to them on celebrating 1 yr open!

Delicious food and great service. The coffee is fresh and the Latte's are creamy and tasty. They have a selection of pastries and made to order breakfast. I have the Avacado toast and it's delicious. Egg prepared your way over fresh sliced Avacado and toast. Come for the food, stay for the conversation which is often very entertaining.

Great food and great prices. I had the pancakes one day and the biscuits and gravy the other day, both amazing dishes. It is definitely worth stopping for.

What an amazing and cute or should I say Darling place. The food was delicious. We stayed at the olle bed and breakfast place. They no longer make breakfast so they sent us over there. We can't say enough good things about this adorable place. Food was good, the place was clean and staff was sweet.

What a fun surprise in a little town! My kids were wowed by the pancakes and I indulged in a lavender latte!! I had the omelette! Delicious! Will definitely return!
