The hubs & I love it here, and all the proceeds go to an absolutely wonderful cause. Any time my student group needs an off-campus place to meet up, I suggest Zera!đź’“

When living in Denton, came here often to study. Greatest place in town for their effort, goals, and the way they spend the resources on rehabilitation and worship. God bless this place and so the people that run it.

This is a great place to study or get some work done. There are some good options like bottomless brewed tea (black, hibiscus, mint, etc).

The coffee is far from excellent, but okay. The espresso machine they have is okay and the execution could be better. I am a little biased, as a previous manager of a coffee shop. But I would still come here for the atmosphere and easy study.

Also, this place is non profit supporting charity, so that rounds out the rough edges.

Zera is my favorite coffee/study place in town, it’s truly one of a kind. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. It’s a great spot to study, meet with a group, or grab some coffee with a friend. There is plenty of seating space, so you usually won’t have to worry about finding a table (Unlike most other coffee places). It supports a great cause too, all proceeds go to the Denton Freedom House. Great coffee, staff, and atmosphere. Stop by if you can!

I do miss the older, more eclectic style of Zera...but the updated structure and more open floorspace is definitely still a welcoming and comfortable place to sit and study, hang out, or just enjoy a cup of tea. I'm allergic to a bunch of things including coffee....but the strawberry hibiscus tea was really yummy, and an italian cream soda was my go-to before my dairy allergy! If you're gonna buy a coffee or host a study group, why not do it AND help a great organization at the same time? Keep up the good work, Zera. Still my preferred coffee shop in Denton.

LOVE LOVE LOVE what this shop stands for and the people in it! Always so sweet and welcoming and they have great spaces for meetings and working!

Only down side is it’s definitely not on pare with other coffee shops taste wise (of course it also depends on the barista you get and what you’re ordering!). BUT, worth the risk for a good cause!

I just love the vibe in this place! This place is a real hub that connects so many people in Denton. It is amazing to think that everything is run by volunteers and that profits go towards the Denton Freedom House to provide a free program that includes accommodation, food and ministry to rehabilitate those in need. What a wonderful story. Visit Zera for your next coffee. You will soon discover friends you have not yet met :)

I love Zera so much. I used to come all the time. I would always order the Irish Cream latte and it was amazing every time. They have some very talented and special people behind the bar. I love and support everything they stand for here, and I’m so happy that a place like this exists in my city. The people are great, amazing cause, bomb food, coffee and atmosphere to die for...what’s not to love? Couldn’t recommend it more.
