Great coffee, friendly staff and inclusive atmosphere what more could you ask for?

As a transgender man visiting Texas for an event, I was admittedly a little nervous. National media unfortunately hasn’t painted the prettiest picture of Texas, and I wasn’t sure how worried I should have been.
What a pleasant surprise to find Union right around the corner from my place. I felt safe. I felt comforted and welcomed. I felt like kind of a jerk for forgetting that sometimes you might hear things about different places that are definitely concerning, but ultimately the bad news is louder than the good news, and the good news is that Dallas clearly has a thriving and loving queer community that is engaged in fighting back against the hatred that surrounds them. Being from Phoenix, I should know better!
Thank you for taking care of my wife and I during our visit. The frosty toddy and chocolate croissant were an excellent pairing with the smiles and kindness of the friendly staff to help start off my days.

Easily one of the best coffee shops I've ever visited.
Incredibly inviting, fun, funky space. Friendly staff who answer questions with a smile. GREAT coffee offerings from the basics to the specialty drinks.
I enjoyed feeling cozy here for a while.

Surprisingly, not a church but rather a really cool coffee shop and nonprofit community center. Great coffee menu (with seasonal offerings to spice it up). Lot's of public programming to get you plugged in with the Arts & Culture scene of Dallas.

Clean, bright, welcoming atmosphere. Great snacks and drinks, and a good place to study,
Work, or have a meeting. Easy parking, they have a big lot right there which is also nice. Will definitely be back!

Perfect place to sit and have coffee with friends during COVID as they have a massive space outside with several picnic tables. Great location.

This is a great coffee shop and is one of my favorite spaces in Dallas!! I love their coffee and their values, as it is a nonprofit coffee shop with a major focus on social justice and has many for-profit competitors. Union is also a very cute space and has a great spiritual group on Tuesdays.

Coffee alone, this is undoubtfully one of my favorite spots in the city. They make all the syrups in house, and use one of my more liked roasters, onyx, to brew most of their coffee goods.
They have a massive patio outside, with trees with occasional live music.
The space also doubles as a co working space, which can be found upstairs.
Great coffee. Cool spot.

I am LOVING the new location! I frequented the Dyer location and was sad to lose my study spot... But I'm so glad to see their business and mission thrive in its new home.
Of course, I forgot to take a pic of my DELISH coffee. Barista Emily was so sweet - asked my name when I ordered and asked "Would you like to try that with nutmeg?" I never would have thought to do that and it was SOOO good!!! 😍👌🏼 New favorite.
The only bummer is that the food selection is limited to pastries. 😩 Their sandwiches were so good!!
